Fiona O'Keeffe (born May 24, 1998) is an American long-distance runner. In her marathon debut, she won the 2024 United States Olympic Marathon Trials, qualifying her for the 2024 Paris Olympics. [3]
As a prep for Davis Senior High School in her hometown of Davis, California, O'Keeffe won the 2016 CIF California State Meet title in the 3200 metres and was a two-time state cross country champion. Fiona O'Keeffe won 2014 Gatorade California Cross Country Runner of the Year. [4] She also ran 15:56.84 for 5000 metres at the 2016 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships, making her the 6th-fastest US high school performer of all time. [2]
O'Keeffe competed as a part of the Stanford Cardinal track and field program from 2016 to 2020. [5] At Stanford, Fiona O'Keeffe won 2019 Pac-12 Conference cross country championships title in 19:32.7 and [6] earned eight NCAA Division I All-American championship awards, with a best placing of 3rd at the 2019 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 5000 m. After turning professional in 2021, signing with Puma, O'Keeffe competed at the US Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon. Contesting the 10,000 m, she placed 20th.
In January 2022, O'Keeffe finished fourth at the Houston Half Marathon in 1:07:42, the fastest debut half marathon for an American woman. [8] In June of the same year, she ran a 5000 m personal best of 15:05.56 in Portland and placed sixth in the 5000 m at the USA Track and Field Championships. In August, she won a bronze medal at the NACAC Championships in the Bahamas.
In 2023, she ran personal bests over 5000 m (15:01.34) and 10,000 m (30:52.77), and represented the United States in the 5 km at the World Road Running Championships, placing sixth.
On February 3, 2024, O'Keeffe won the 2024 United States Olympic trials marathon in Orlando, Florida in 2:22:10, qualifying her to represent the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics. [9] It was her first marathon, having qualified for the trials with a 1:09:34 at the 2023 Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon. [1]

Jordan Melissa Hogan is an American distance runner. She grew up in Arroyo Grande, California, and attended Mission College Preparatory High School in San Luis Obispo. She was unanimously selected 2008 Girls High School Athlete of the Year by the voting panel at Track and Field News. In March 2009, she became the ninth high school athlete and third woman on the cover of Track and Field News magazine. She attended the University of Oregon, where she studied business administration and competed on the cross country and track and field teams earning 18 All-American honors, 2011 Mile and 3,000 meters NCAA titles. Her father was a high school basketball star in Pennsylvania, and her mother was a national level swimmer in her native England. Jordan Hasay is no longer coached by Alberto Salazar due to his suspension.
Sally Jepkosgei Kipyego is a Kenyan-born American long- and middle-distance runner. She was the silver medalist in the 10,000 metres at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics and the silver medalist in the same race at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She has a personal record of 30:38.35 minutes for that event and her 5000 metres best of 14:30.42 minutes makes her the second fastest Kenyan woman for the distance.
Kate Tenforde is an American long-distance runner from Milton, Massachusetts. She represented the United States in the 2004 Summer Olympics, competing in the 10,000 metres.
Chris Derrick is an American distance runner who won 3 consecutive US Cross Country Championships in 2013–15. He attended Stanford University, where he earned 14 All-American honors and holds an American junior record in the 5000 meters.
Molly Huddle is an American long-distance runner who competes in track and cross country running events. She held the American record in the 5000 meters set in 2014 in Monaco (14:42.64), which has since been lowered by Shannon Rowbury and Shelby Houlihan. Grant Jackson Fisher is an American professional middle- and long-distance runner. He holds the American national records for the 5,000 (12:46.96) and 10,000 meters (26:33.84), both set in a 2022 breakthrough season outdoors, and the 3,000 meters (7:25.47) after a post-injury return late in the 2023 outdoor season. He placed fifth in the 10,000 meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and fourth at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. Fisher holds North American records in the 3000 meters, 5000 m and 10,000 m.
Emily Sisson is an American long-distance runner. She set the North American record in the marathon on 9 October 2022, when she ran 2:18:29 to finish second at the Chicago Marathon. Sisson also held the American record in the half marathon from May 2022 until July 2023. She represented the United States in the 10000 metres at the 2017 and 2019 World Athletics Championships, finishing 9th and 10th. In June 2021, she won the 10000m at the 2020 US Olympic Trials and placed 10th in the 10000m final at the 2020 Summer Olympics. In 2024, she placed second in the marathon at the US Olympic Trials, qualifying for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Leonard Essau Korir is an American long-distance runner who competes over distances from 5000 meters to the marathon. He is a two-time NCAA champion, winning an indoor 5000 m title and outdoor 10,000 meters title in 2011 for the Iona Gaels. He gained United States citizenship and began competing for his adoptive nation in 2016.
Molly Seidel is an American long distance runner. Seidel represented the United States at the Great Edinburgh Cross Country in 2012, 2013, and 2018. In her first-ever marathon, Seidel placed second at the 2020 U.S. Marathon Olympic Trials. Later, she went on to win the bronze medal in her third career marathon at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
