Chatham–Arch is a neighborhood located immediately east of Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. This neighborhood is one of the oldest in Indianapolis, dating back to the mid 19th century. Chatham–Arch contains many of Indianapolis's historic homes.
St. James Memorial Chapel is a former Episcopal chapel located on the grounds of Howe Military School, in Howe, Indiana. It was built in 1902, and is a one-story, Tudor Revival style brick building sheathed with a limestone veneer. It measures 152 feet by 64 feet, and has additions made in 1909, 1914, and 1955. The building features a two-story, crenellated corner tower.

It was built in 1867, and is a modest, one-room, brick church with a reconstructed bell tower. It measures 46 feet by 36 feet and sits on an uncut Indiana limestone foundation.
The First Presbyterian Church of Aurora, Indiana is a historic Presbyterian congregation and church located at Aurora, Dearborn County, Indiana. The original building completed in 1855 is still used, and is believed to have been designed by architect John R. Hamilton. It is a two-story, rectangular, Greek Revival style red brick building painted white. It measure approximately 45 feet wide by 75 feet deep and rests on a rough cut limestone foundation. It features a steeply tower consisting of a base, belfry, clock, and steeple.
First Evangelical United Church of Christ, also known as the Fifth Street Church and German Reformed Church, is a historic United Church of Christ church located at 111 Fifth Street in Aurora, Dearborn County, Indiana. It was originally constructed in 1848 as a Greek Revival style Baptist church. It was remodeled in 1911 in the Gothic Revival style. It is a one-story, red brick building measuring 40 feet, 6 inches, wide by 60 feet deep. It features arched openings and a projecting front tower topped by an octagonal spire. A parish hall was added to the church between 1932 and 1934. It is the oldest church building in Aurora.
Hamline Chapel, United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church located at High and Vine Streets in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County, Indiana. It was built about 1847, and is a one-story, gable front, Greek Revival style brick building on a raised basement. A rear addition was built about 1900 and two-story Sunday School and office addition in the 1950s. The church was renovated in 1979.
Moore's Hill United Methodist Church, also known as Methodist Episcopal Church, is a historic Methodist church located at 13476 Main Street in Moores Hill, Dearborn County, Indiana. It was built in 1871, and is a simple one-story, gable front, brick building with Greek Revival and Italianate style design elements. It rests on a limestone foundation and has four Doric order pilasters on the front facade.
St. Luke's Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church at Cannelton, Perry County, Indiana. Built about 1845–1846, it is a rectangular Greek Revival style frame building with a gable roof. It was lengthened by 17 feet in 1864, and features a three-story centered bell tower on the front facade.

The front facade features a cast iron storefront with pilasters with Corinthian order capitals.

The district encompasses 272 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 3 contributing structures in the central business district of Aurora. The district developed between about 1830 and 1944, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Federal, and Greek Revival style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Aurora City Hall, Aurora Methodist Episcopal Church, Aurora Public Library, First Evangelical United Church of Christ, First Presbyterian Church, George Street Bridge, Hillforest, Lewis Hurlbert, Sr. House, Leive, Parks and Stapp Opera House, and George Sutton Medical Office. Other notable buildings include the T. and J.W. Gaff Distillery (1843), First National Bank (1924), I.O.O.F. Hall (1887), B&O Railroad Station (1911-1917), John Neff Building, Chamber Stevens & Co. Dry Goods Store, U.S. Post Office (1935), Star Milling Co. (1891), and St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (1874).
Tomhannock Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic Methodist Episcopal church located at Pittstown, Rensselaer County, New York. It was built in 1845, and is a one-story, vernacular Greek Revival style brick church building with a front gable roof. It is topped by an open belfry topped by a low pyramidal roof. The interior was remodeled in 1871 and 1896. A two-story frame addition was built about 1980 to replace a two-story social hall added in 1855. The church was abandoned by United Methodist Conference in 2010 and subsequently adapted for municipal purposes.

The church was built in 1911, and is a one-story, front-gable frame building with a medium-pitched gable on hip roof. It features a simple two-story square tower topped by a square cupola and a large projecting semi-hexagonal apse. The associated parsonage was built about 1925.
Bethel AME Church of Crawfordsville is a historic African Methodist Episcopal church located at Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana. It was built in 1892, and is a one-story, gable fronted frame building on a brick foundation. It features a large round-arched window and two-story, square corner tower. Portions of the building are believed to date to 1847. Also on the property is a contributing one-story, Queen Anne style cottage that served as the original parsonage.

The original section measures 30 feet by 50 feet; a 30-foot rear addition was built in 1960. Atop the roof is a belfry added about 1950. It is the oldest remaining church building in Crawfordsville and Indiana's first Episcopal Church building.

It was built in 1937, and is a two-story, Art Deco style church building sheathed in white glazed brick and terra cotta. It features a stylized Corinthian order front portico, round arched entry with bronze doors, and curved bays and ribbon windows. The church is topped by a tall, open lattice work spire of cast aluminum.

It features a square bell tower, Gothic arched windows, decorative stone bands, and terra cotta accents.
