Sport utility vehicle (SUV) is a category of motor vehicles that combine elements of road-going passenger cars with features from off-road vehicles, such as raised ground clearance and four-wheel drive.

The Opel Antara was a compact crossover SUV which was designed and produced by Opel from 2006 to 2015. The Antara, based on the Theta platform, shared its underpinnings and powertrains with the Chevrolet Captiva. However, it only offered five seats instead of seven, and had a different exterior and interior design. Sales commenced in November 2006.

The Tesla Model X is a mid-size all-electric luxury SUV made by Tesla, Inc.. The vehicle is unique in the concept that it uses falcon wing doors instead of traditional automotive doors. The prototype was unveiled at Tesla's design studios in Hawthorne on February 9, 2012. The Model X has an official EPA rated 250–325 mi (402–523 km) range and the combined fuel economy equivalent and energy consumption for the AWD P90D was rated at 89 mpg‑e (39 kW⋅h/100 mi).

The vehicle was first introduced to the Japanese market in late 2013, and made its North American debut at the New York International Auto Show in April 2014 with the revived name Honda HR-V. The HR-V nameplate has been carried over to other markets, including Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Australia and Canada. In Singapore the official Honda distributor sells the HR-V, while the parallel imported version retains the name Vezel.
