Chun Nan Jun (CNJ) is the common name for the company also called Ziyang Nanjun Automobile Co., Ltd and Sichuan Nanjun Automobile Co., Ltd; [1] it is a Chinese truck manufacturer based in Yanjiang, Ziyang, Sichuan, with over 3,200 employees. Ziyang Nanjun Automobile produces heavy, medium and light duty trucks and mini trucks as well as large, medium and light buses. Annual production capacity is 150,000 automobiles presently, ranking the 19th in China's auto industry and the second in China's commercial vehicle industry. [2]

Sichuan Nanjun Automobile Co., Ltd., produces public buses and highway passenger vehicles;

Ziyang Junxing Spare Parts Co., Ltd., produces spare parts;

Ziyang Ruiyu Logistics Co., Ltd., is mainly engaged in storage, logistics, property management and transportation of commodity vehicles;

Hunan Axle (Ziyang) Co., Ltd., produces axles annually for medium and light duty vehicles;

CNJ Automobile Chongqing Banglong Import & Export Co., Ltd., is the official corporate exporter.

Joint Ventures

In 2011 CNC signed a joint venture with Hyundai to produce Hyundai trucks and buses. Each entity would hold 50% of the JV named Sichuan Hyundai. [3] [4]

SAIC Hongyan Automotive Co., Ltd. is a Chinese truck manufacturing company headquartered in Chongqing, China and owned by Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology, a subsidiary of SAIC. The company was established in January 2003 as a joint venture co-owned by the Chongqing municipality with the name Chongqing Hongyan and traces its origins back to a Chinese manufacturer established in 1965. In 2007, it was renamed SAIC Iveco Hongyan Commercial Vehicle after SAIC and Iveco bought shares in the venture. In September 2021, it adopted its present name after becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology. The company is focused on producing Iveco-based heavy trucks which are mostly marketed under the Hongyan marque.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Isuzu TX</span>

The Isuzu TX series truck was built from 1934 until the end of World War 2, then resumed production starting in 1946 until 1979 and was powered by a diesel engine. It was the company's first successful heavy duty truck used in various roles to include firetruck, tank truck, construction, dump truck, and cargo transport. It shared a chassis with the BX series bus, and evolved from the Isuzu Sumida bus that was produced starting in 1929. The TX series had several models based on engine size and payload requirements.
