The Himachal Pradesh women's cricket team is a women's cricket team that represents the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh in domestic cricket tournaments. The team competes in the Women's Senior One Day Trophy and the Women's Senior T20 Trophy. It has never reached the final of either trophy. [1]
The Himachal Pradesh women’s cricket team was founded in 1981, and has played in the Ranji Trophy since the 1985-86 season. The team has not won any major trophies yet, but has produced some notable players, such as Harleen Deol, who is the current captain and also plays for the Indian women’s national cricket team. The team’s home ground is the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, which has a capacity of 25,000 spectators.

The North Zone women's cricket team is a women's cricket team that represents northern India in the Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day and Women's Senior Inter Zonal T20. It is a composite team of players from five teams from northern India: Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. They were formed in 1974–75 to play in the Rani Jhansi Trophy, which they competed in until 2002–03, when the competition ended. They then competed in the Inter Zone Women's One Day Competition, which they won once, in 2011–12, and then in the Inter Zone Women's Three Day Competition, in which they won the final edition of the tournament, in 2017–18. It was contested by the 37 domestic cricket teams of India, with eight teams in Group B. The group stage started on 21 February 2019, with the top two teams progressing to the Super League section of the competition.

Punjab were the defending champions, but were eliminated in the league stage. Chandigarh made their debut in the tournament after the BCCI granted affiliation to the Union Territory Cricket Association.

It was contested by 38 teams, divided into six groups, with six teams in Group C. Baroda, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and Uttarakhand were placed in Group C, with all the matches taking place in Vadodara. Baroda won Group C to qualify for the knockout stage of the tournament. Himachal Pradesh also qualified for the quarter-finals, finishing as one of the best two second placed teams across groups A to E.
