Hyde Udeze Onuaguluchi is the founder of God's Sabbath Mission, [1] also was an elected Senator for the Enugu West constituency of Enugu State, Nigeria at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic.

Personal life

Hyde Udeze Onuaguluchi hails from Achi Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State. He has been involved in many projects like politics, religion law but most people may associate Hyde with Hydrotech - an engineering firm owned by him which has given millions of people fresh drinking water free of charge in the entire Eastern State. Hyde's commitment to the service and welfare of people made him a household name in many parts of Igboland.

Political career

Running on the All People's Party (APP) platform. He took office on 29 May 1999. [2] His opponent, Chief Ben-Collins Ndu of the PDP, filed an election petition with the Election Tribunal on the basis that the figures were falsified and there were gross irregularities and conduct during the election in the Awgu and Aninri local governments. [3] In March 2001, after a protracted legal battle, the Supreme Court annulled Onuaguluchi's election and ordered new elections. [4] Ndu went on to be elected. [5]

Onuaguluchi was Chairman of the Governing Council of the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, from 2004 to 2009. [6]

Ekweremadu is a Nigerian politician and lawyer from Enugu State who has served in the Senate of Nigeria since May 2003. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party and was the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate for three consecutive senate.

Isiaka Adeleke Nigerian senator

Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke was a two time Nigerian senator who represented the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State from 2007 to 2011 and was elected again under the banner of the All Progressives Congress in 2015. He became a member of the Nigerian Senate in 2007. He ran for re-election in April 2011 on the PDP platform, coming second with 77,090 votes. Governor Anambra State

Osinakachukwu Ideozu is a Nigerian entrepreneur, businessman and politician. He was a member of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria were he represented the Rivers West Senatorial District. Ideozu had served as member and Minority Whip of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 1999 to 2003 where he represented Ahoada East Constituency 1 and also as a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives where he represented Abua-Odual/Ahoada East Federal Constituency. Ideozu was the Rivers State Honourable Commissioner for Finance from 2007 to 2009.

Michael Ama Nnachi is a Nigerian Politician and Quantity Surveyor, he is the senator representing Ebonyi South Senatorial District of Ebonyi State at the Nigerian 9th National Assembly.

The 1999 Nigerian Senate election in Enugu State was held on February 20, 1999, to elect members of the Nigerian Senate to represent Enugu State. Fidelis Okoro representing Enugu North won on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, Jim Nwobodo representing Enugu East won on the platform of Alliance for Democracy, while Hyde Onuaguluchi representing Enugu West won on the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party.

The 1992 Nigerian Senate election in Enugu State was held on July 4, 1992, to elect members of the Nigerian Senate to represent Enugu State. Ben-Collins Ndu representing Enugu Central and Fidelis Okoro representing Enugu North won on the platform of National Republican Convention, while Polycarp Nwite representing Enugu East won on the platform of the Social Democratic Party.
