The 9th National Assembly (2019 -Date) was inaugurated on 12 June 2019. The All Peoples' Congress (APC) won all the Senate and House of Representatives'seats.

Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who served as the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate from 2019 to 2023. He was the senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District from 2015 to 2023.

Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim PhD, FCIB was a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from Kwara State. He represented Kwara South Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly. The 2015 Nigerian Senate election in Gombe State was held on March 28, 2015, to elect members of the Nigerian Senate to represent Gombe State. Mohammed Danjuma Goje representing Gombe Central and Usman Bayero Nafada representing Gombe North won on the platform of All Progressives Congress, while Joshua Moltobok representing Gombe South won on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party.
