Jach'a Apachita (Aymara jach'a big, apachita the place of transit of an important pass in the principal routes of the Andes; name in the Andes for a stone cairn, a little pile of rocks built along the trail in the high mountains, [2] [3] also spelled Jachcha Apacheta) is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia which reaches a height of approximately 4,920 m (16,140 ft). It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, in the southeast of the Curahuara de Carangas Municipality. [1] [4]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

Jachacunocollo, also known as Jacha Cuno Collo, Tres Marias, Don Luis or Jacha Collo is a mountain in the Andes in Bolivia. It is the highest elevation in the Quimsa Cruz Range reaching an elevation of about 5,800 metres (19,029 ft). Jachacunocollo is situated in the La Paz Department, Inquisivi Province, Quime Municipality, north-west of Wayna Khunu Qullu, the second highest mountain in this mountain range.

Wila Lluxi mountain in Bolivia

Wila Lluxi is a mountain in the Andes, about 5,596 m (18,360 ft) high. It lies in the Cordillera Real of Bolivia in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated on the western side of the Janq'u Quta valley next to the mountains Warawarani and Phaq'u Kiwuta. Other prominent mountains nearby are Janq'u Laya and Janq'u Uyu in the north, and Wila Lluxita and Mullu Apachita in the northeast, all of them higher than 5,000 m.

Jacha Qullu (Los Andes)

Jach'a Qullu is a 5,298-metre-high (17,382 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. Jach'a Qullu is situated southwest of Jisk'a Pata and Jach'a Pata, southwest of Jach'a Juqhu and northwest of Wila Lluxi, Warawarani and Qala T'uxu.

Jacha Juqhu

Jach'a Juqhu is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,192 metres (17,034 ft) high. It lies in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. Jach'a Juqhu is situated south of the mountain Wari Umaña, south-west of Jisk'a Pata, north-west of Wila Lluxi and Warawarani, north of Qala T'uxu and north-east of Jach'a Qullu.

Jach'a T'uxu or Jach'a Tuqu is a 5,358-metre-high (17,579 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. Jach'a T'uxu is situated southwest of Patapatani, northwest of Wari Sipitaña, southwest of T'uxu Loma and northeast of Wila Wilani.

Jach'a Jipiña is a 4,950-metre-high (16,240 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Pucarani Municipality. Jach'a Jipiña lies south-west of the lake Juri Quta.

Pumuta

Pumuta is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,200 metres (17,060 ft) high. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Curahuara de Carangas Municipality, Sajama Canton, north-west of the extinct Sajama volcano. Pumuta lies south-west of the mountain Jach'a Kunturiri and north-east to east of the mountains Kunturiri and Jisk'a Kunturiri.

It lies east of a village of that name. The Ch'apiri River originates at the mountain.. It flows to Curahuara de Carangas in the north.
