Karween is a locality situated on the Redcliffs-Merringur Road in the Sunraysia region, south of the Sturt Highway. It is about 9 kilometres (about 5.6 miles) east from Morkalla and 6 kilometres (about 3.7 miles) west from Meringur. The railway arrived soon after the area was settled by returned servicemen after World War I, in 1931, and closed in 1964. [2] Karween had a progress association operating in the 1930s.

The Morkalla railway line was a railway line in the Millewa region of northwestern Victoria, Australia. It extended west from Red Cliffs railway station on the Mildura railway line into the wheat farming areas established as soldier settlements after World War I.

Redcliff is a parliamentary constituency in the National Assembly of the Parliament of Zimbabwe created out of Kwekwe constituency prior to the 2008 general election. It comprises Redcliff town, Ripple Creek and Komera. It also covers parts of Silobela such as St Marks, Totololo, Loreto, Gothic Mine and Hozoli. Sebakwe Dam is a dam in the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe. It was built in 1957 and owned by the Zimbabwe government. It is across Sebakwe River in the Sanyati Catchment Area.
