Lan Jun (Chinese :蓝军;born 1953) is a former Chinese politician who spent most of his career in northeast China's Jilin province. [1] As of December 2014 he was under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency. Previously he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the 12th Jilin Provincial People's Congress and a member of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee. [2]
Lan Jun was born and raised in Lishu County,Jilin. He graduated from Jilin University.
He began his political career in February 1970,and joined the Chinese Communist Party in December 1973.
During his early years,he successively served as Deputy Head of Propaganda Department of Jilin Provincial Party Committee,Secretary of Jilin Municipal Party Committee of Communist Youth League,and Communist Party Secretary of Longtan District,Jilin City.
In August 1989,he became the Director of Jilin Television and Vice Chief Editor of Jilin Radio and TV Bureau.
In June 1992,he served as Vice Chief of the Press and Publication Bureau of Jilin,and one and a half year later promoted to the Chief position.
In April 2003,he was transferred to Songyuan,he served as Mayor and Deputy Communist Party Secretary from 2003 to 2006,and Communist Party Secretary,the top political position in the city,from 2006 to 2011.
In May 2011,he was transferred to Changchun,capital of Jilin province,and appointed the Deputy Secretary-general of Jilin government,Executive Deputy Director of Jilin Provincial Food Safety Committee,and Director of the Office of Food Safety Commission,he remained in that positions until November 2013,when he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the 12th Jilin Provincial People's Congress and a member of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee.
On December 8,2014,the state media reported that he was being investigated by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Chinese Communist Party for "serious violations of laws and regulations". [3] His successor,Sun Hongzhi,was being investigated on December 26 and was sentenced to 18 years in prison in February 2017.
On May 25,2015,he was expelled from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and removed from public office. [4] On September 8,he was indicted on suspicion of accepting bribes and corruption. [5]
Wang Min is a former politician of the People's Republic of China. He successively served as Communist Party Secretary of Liaoning province,Party Secretary and Governor of Jilin province,and Vice Governor of Jiangsu province. Once considered a promising future leader in the Communist Party,Wang retired from his provincial leadership positions in 2015,before coming under investigation for corruption in 2016. He was sentenced to life in prison upon being convicted on charges of bribery and dereliction of duty.
Liu Suiji is a former Chinese politician and police officer from Shanxi Province. Liu served as the Secretary of the Taiyuan Political and Legislative Affairs Committee (Zhengfawei),in addition to being the provincial capital's police chief. In August 2014 Liu was placed under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency.
Yang Xin is a former Chinese politician from Heilongjiang Province. He was the Party Secretary and Mayor of Qiqihar,and prior to that Mayor of Daqing. In September 2014 Yang was investigated by the Communist Party's anti-corruption body.
Wang Ning is a Chinese politician from Shanxi province. As of November 2014 he was under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency. Previously he served as the party chief of Liulin County.
Wang Min is a Chinese politician from eastern China's Shandong province. He served as the Communist Party Secretary of Jinan,the top political position in the provincial capital,between 2011 and 2014.
Han Xuejian is a former Chinese politician who spent most of his career in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province. He was investigated by the Communist Party of China's anti-graft agency in December 2014. Previously he served as the Communist Party Secretary of Daqing,and a Standing Committee of CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee.
Lu Wucheng is a former Chinese official who spent most of his career in Gansu province. He was the vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Gansu Provincial People's Congress and Communist Party Secretary of Lanzhou. Lu also was the member of 12th National People's Congress. On January 23,2015,Lu Wucheng was placed under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency. He was the first high-ranking politician being examined from Gansu province after the 18th Party Congress in 2012.
Xu Jianyi is a former Chinese politician and entrepreneur. He was the Chairman of FAW Group,the delegate of the 17th and 18th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party,the member of the 11th and 12th National People's Congress. On March 15,2015,Xu Jianyi was placed under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency.
Yu Yuanhui is a Chinese politician of ethnic Yao heritage who spent most of his career in Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Until 2015,he served as the Communist Party Secretary of Nanning,capital of Guangxi,and was a Standing Committee member of the regional party organization. In May 2015,he was put under investigation by the Communist Party of China's anti-corruption agency. An alternate member of the Central Committee from 2007 until his downfall,Yu was duly expelled from the party and lost his Central Committee seat in 2015 and was sentenced to 11 years in jail.
Zheng Xuebi is a former Chinese politician who spent most of his career in north China's Hebei province. He has been placed under investigation as Communist Party General Secretary Xi Jinping's continues a campaign against corruption at all levels of government. Previously he served as Communist Party Secretary of Chengde,the top political position in the city.

Chen Xuefeng is a former Chinese politician and mining executive from Henan province. He was a delegate to the 11th National People's Congress.
Gong Wusheng is a former Chinese politician who served as party secretary of Loudi from 2011 to 2016,and mayor of Yongzhou from 2005 to 2011. As of May 2020,he was under investigation by China's top anti-corruption agency. Gong crossed paths with and was known to be a close ally of Qin Guangrong. He was a delegate to the 11th National People's Congress.
