Lenoir–Rhyne University is a private Lutheran university in Hickory, North Carolina. It was founded in 1891 and is affiliated with the North Carolina Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Southwest Guilford High School is a secondary school in High Point, North Carolina, United States established in 1979. It serves grades nine through twelve. The school was recently renovated and expanded to add more class rooms, a media center, and a gymnasium. The new gymnasium is the largest high school gym in Guilford County. The gym is named after long time SW Guilford teacher and coach Jim Coggins.

With 17,719 undergraduate and graduate students as of 2019, WCU is the largest of the 10 state-owned universities belonging to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) and the sixth largest university in Pennsylvania. It also maintains a Center City Philadelphia satellite campus on Market Street.
