List of MicroProse games

This is a list of games made by the American video game developer and publisher MicroProse. The games in this list were developed internally by MicroProse. Some games made by other developers were published under MicroProse's Microplay or MicroStyle label. In 1989 MicroProse acquired the British publisher Telecomsoft and subsequently published games under their Firebird and Rainbird labels. MicroProse was used as a brand name from 1998 to 2002 by Hasbro Interactive and Infogrames.

<i>Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim</i> 2000 video game

Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim is a real-time strategy video game developed by Cyberlore Studios, and published by Hasbro Interactive under the MicroProse brand name for Windows in March 2000. The game is not a simulator; that part of the title is a witticism, a reference to the game's adherence to fantasy and fantasy role-playing game cliches. In Majesty, players assume the role of king in a fantasy realm called Ardania which features city sewers infested with giant rats, landscapes dotted with ancient evil castles, and soldiers helpless against anything bigger than a goblin. As Sovereign, the player must rely on hiring bands of wandering heroes in order to get anything done. In a major divergence from most real-time strategy games, the player does not have direct control over their units.

Europress was a British magazine and software publisher based in Adlington, near Macclesfield, Cheshire. Their magazine publishing business was previously known as Database Publications. The software division was renamed in 1999 to Actualize.

<i>Addiction Pinball</i> 1998 video game

Addiction Pinball is a pinball video game developed by Team17 and published by MicroProse for Microsoft Windows in 1998. It features tables based on two Team17 games, World Rally Fever and Worms.

Civilization is a series of turn-based strategy video games, first released in 1991. Sid Meier developed the first game in the series and has had creative input for most of the rest, and his name is usually included in the formal title of these games, such as Sid Meier's Civilization VI. There are six main games in the series, a number of expansion packs and spin-off games, as well as board games inspired by the video game series. The seventh installment in the series is slated for release on Feb 11, 2025. The series is considered a formative example of the 4X genre, in which players achieve victory through four routes: "eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate".

Atari, Inc. is an American video gaming company based in New York City, and a subsidiary of the Atari SA holding company. It is the main entity serving the commercial Atari brand globally since 2003. Atari Interactive, Inc. is an American subsidiary of Atari SA which is the current owner of the Atari brand name, which it licenses out to its parent company. It is the sole owner of the Atari brand since 2001, through its subsidiary Atari Interactive Inc. which licenses the brand to other entities in the group.

<i>Stunt GP</i> 2001 video game

Stunt GP is a radio-controlled car racing video game developed by the UK-based studio Team17, released in 2001. It was published by Eon Digital Entertainment for Windows and Dreamcast, and by Titus Software for PlayStation 2. Stunt GP uses the RenderWare engine. It has both single-player and offline multiplayer game modes using the split-screen method, and various game controllers are supported.
