Grand Prix 3 is a computer racing simulator developed by MicroProse's UK development studio in Chipping Sodbury and published by Hasbro Interactive, released in July 2000. The expansion pack, "2000 Season", was developed by Simergy and published by Infogrames Interactive.
The game is known for featuring the 1998 Formula One season (with all drivers except Jacques Villeneuve, who is instead replaced by a fictional character, John Newhouse). In August 2001 an expansion pack, Grand Prix 3 2000 Season, was released, updating the game to feature the 2000 season's cars and drivers (including Villeneuve), as well as the 2 new circuits on the calendar, the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The game received "generally favorable reviews" according to the review aggregation website Metacritic. [4] It was not quite as well received as its predecessors, but at the time was widely considered to be the best racing simulation available. [10] [11]
The editors of Computer Gaming World nominated Grand Prix 3 as the best racing game of 2000, although it lost to Motocross Madness 2 . They described Grand Prix 3 as a "precisely tuned" title. [14]
In Europe, Grand Prix 3 sold 300,000 units in one month. Italy made up above 30,000 sales of this number, while Spain accounted for 6,500. Multiplayer.it attributed the relatively low sales in Spain to that country's rampant software piracy problem. [15]
In the German market, Grand Prix 3 sold 40,000 units in its first three days of availability. [16] Debuting at #2 on Media Control's computer game sales chart for July 2000, it rose to first place the following month, before claiming fourth in September. [17] The Verband der Unterhaltungssoftware Deutschland (VUD) presented Grand Prix 3 with a "Gold" award at the end of that month, [18] indicating sales of at least 100,000 units across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. [19] The game proceeded to place seventh, ninth and 18th on Media Control's charts through the end of 2000. [20] [21]
Although Grand Prix 3 passed the 100,000-sale mark in German-speaking countries, Udo Hoffman of PC Player reported that it had fallen below Hasbro Interactive's projections by late 2000, and that the publisher was "more than a little disappointed" in its performance. The company's product manager, Thomas Sewing, blamed this outcome in part on high competition from other titles with the Formula One license. [17] Grand Prix 3 continued to chart on Media Control's top 30 in 2001, placing 19th in January, 23rd in February and 17th in March. [21] [22]
In the United Kingdom, Grand Prix 3 received a "Silver" certificate from the Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA), [23] for at least 100,000 sales in the region. [24]
The game's intro is set to an instrumental version of the Rob Dougan song "Furious Angels", overlaid with various F1 car noises. [25]

Stronghold: Crusader is the successor to Firefly Studios's 2001 real-time strategy video game Stronghold. Crusader has much in common with the original Stronghold, but differs from its predecessor in the fact that the game is no longer set in England, instead being set in the Middle East during the Crusades. Another prominent addition not found in its predecessor is a skirmish mode in single-player, allowing customized battles with AI opponents instead of the linear campaign. The game was also released as Stronghold Warchest. This version was a compendium of Stronghold and an enhanced version of Stronghold: Crusader, containing additional characters and an additional Crusader Trail.
Davilex Games B.V. was a video game developer and video game publisher, located in Houten, Utrecht, Netherlands. It was founded in 1986 as part of Davilex International, and is most well known for its Racer franchise, with the games London Racer and London Racer II selling over 600,000 copies in the UK. Autobahn Raser's sales in the German market totaled 103,000 units from January through September 1998, which made it the region's sixth-best-selling computer game during that period. In February 1999, Autobahn Raser's computer version received a "Gold" award from the Verband der Unterhaltungssoftware Deutschland (VUD), indicating sales of at least 100,000 units across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Davilex closed the game division in 2005 because it was not profitable enough, and their games were generally not well received.

On the Ball is a football management game series from the German developers Ascaron, former name Ascon. The premiere title in the series is On the Ball. The player is managing a football club in the English League. The original game was popular in Germany, and Ascaron created several sequels: "On the Ball 2", "On the Ball 3", and "On the Ball Action". Doppelpass was a bundle that included On the Ball and the self-running add-on Anstoss World Cup Edition. The English version has a minor fan base.

Patrician II: Quest for Power, entitled Patrizier 2: Geld und Macht in Germany, is the second video game from developer Ascaron in their Patrician series. The sequel to The Patrician, it is a game simulating trading, piracy, politics, and economy. An expansion pack, Patrizier 2: Aufschwung der Hanse, was released in Germany in 2001. A compilation release containing the main game and the expansion was released as Patrizier 2: Gold Edition in Germany in 2002 and as Patrician III: Rise of the Hanse internationally in 2003. A sequel, Patrician IV, was released in 2010.
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is a 1999 quiz/party video game originally developed by Jellyvision and published by Disney Interactive, based on the television franchise of the same name. The game was originally based on the American version of the show. It tasks the player with answering quiz questions in a limited time frame.
