Shin Ha-kyun is a South Korean actor. He is known for his roles in television series Brain (2011), Soul Mechanic (2020), Beyond Evil (2021), and films Joint Security Area (2000), Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002), Save the Green Planet! (2003), Welcome to Dongmakgol (2005), Empire of Lust (2015), and Less Than Evil (2019).
Ryoo Seung-wan is a South Korean film director. He made his debut in 1996 with the short film 'Dangerous Head', then worked as a director under director Park Chan-wook, took film lessons, and made his feature film debut in 2000 with Die Bad. In 2000, he received the Blue Dragon Film Awards for Best New Director, drawing attention from the film industry. Ryoo Seung-wan is called Korea's 'action kid' for his unique action and rough life style, and he directed films such as Crying Fist and The Battleship Island.
Bae Doo-na, anglicized as Doona Bae, is a South Korean actress and photographer. She became known outside Korea for her roles as a political activist in Park Chan-wook's Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002), archer Park Nam-joo in Bong Joon-ho's The Host (2006), and as the doll in Hirokazu Kore-eda's Air Doll (2009). She has had English-speaking roles in the Wachowski films Cloud Atlas (2012) and Jupiter Ascending (2015), as well as their Netflix television series Sense8 (2015–2018). In Korean-speaking roles, she is well known as the leading female character in the Netflix period zombie thriller, Kingdom (2019–2020), the crime thriller Stranger (2017–2020), and the sci-fi limited series The Silent Sea (2021).

Choi Jin-sil was a South Korean actress. She was considered one of the best actresses in South Korea, nicknamed "The Nation's Actress" for playing leading roles in some of the highest-rated Korean dramas of all time such as Jealousy (1992), Season of Storms (1993), Star in My Heart (1997), You and I (1997) and My Rosy Life (2005). Her film work includes North Korea's Southern Army (1990), My Love, My Bride (1990), Susanne Brink's Arirang (1991) and The Letter (1997). Widely regarded as the most popular actress of her time, she led the entertainment industry in terms of commercial success across film, television, and advertising. She played leading roles in 18 films and 20 television dramas, appeared in hundreds of advertisements, and won several awards. She was 39 when she died by suicide by hanging on October 2, 2008, at her home in Seoul.
Our Twisted Hero is a 1992 South Korean film directed by Park Jong-won. It was chosen as Best Film at the Chunsa Film Art Awards. It is based on the short novel Our Twisted Hero by Yi Munyol.
Death Song is a 1991 South Korean film directed by Kim Ho-sun. It won multiple awards in the 1991 Chunsa Film Art Awards, including Best Film, the 1991 Blue Dragon Film Awards, again including Best Film, and the 1992 Grand Bell Awards.
Park Hee-soon is a South Korean actor. He graduated with a Theater degree from Seoul Institute of the Arts, and was a member of the Mokwha Repertory Company from 1990 to 2001. He became active in film beginning 2002, and won several Best Supporting Actor awards for his portrayal of a tough cop in Seven Days (2007). He received further acting recognitions for his roles in the films The Scam (2009) and 1987: When the Day Comes (2017). Apart from his film career, Park starred in television series All About My Romance (2013), The Missing (2015), Beautiful World (2019), and My Name (2021), the lattermost of which brought him international attention.
Next Entertainment World is a South Korean media content production and distribution company. The film investment and distribution business was founded in 2008 by former Showbox president Kim Woo-taek. Seo Dong-wook and Jang Kyung-ik are the founding members of NEW.
Lee Byeong-heon is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. He is best known for his 2015 film Twenty and 2019 film Extreme Job, the latter of which broke the record for the highest-grossing South Korean film.
The Mayor is a 2017 South Korean political drama film written and directed by Park In-je. It stars Choi Min-sik, Kwak Do-won, Shim Eun-kyung, Moon So-ri, Ra Mi-ran, Ryu Hye-young, and Ki Hong Lee. The film was released in South Korea on April 26, 2017 and in the US and Canada on April 28.
Heung-boo: The Revolutionist is a 2018 South Korean historical drama film directed by Cho Geun-hyun and starring Jung Woo, Kim Joo-hyuk, Jung Jin-young and Jung Hae-in. It is based on the Korean folk tale Heungbu and Nolbu.
Jeon Bo-young, known professionally as Jeon Yeo-been (Korean: 전여빈) is a South Korean actress. Jeon rose to prominence for her performance in the independent film After My Death (2018) which earned her the Actress of the Year Award at the 22nd Busan International Film Festival and the Independent Star Award at the 2017 Seoul Independent Film Festival. Jeon's career continues to rise after she starred in the television series Vincenzo (2021) the crime action film Night in Paradise (2021) and television series A Time Called You (2023).
Kim Joo-hun is a South Korean theater, television and film actor. He debuted in 2007 in play Gangster Number 1. He was a member of Alleyway Theater Company from 2009 until 2014. He is best known for his roles in the television series Encounter (2018), Dr. Romantic 2 (2020), It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020), Now, We Are Breaking Up (2021), Big Mouth (2022), and Castaway Diva (2023).
Kim Jong-Soo is a South Korean actor. His acting journey began in 1985 when he took on the role of Alan in the play Equus. He gained recognition through his outstanding performances in various theatrical productions in Ulsan, earning him several prestigious awards. In 1996, he was honored with the Gyeongnam Theater Award for Best Actor, followed by the Outstanding Acting Award at the Ulsan Theater Festival in 2000 and the Mayor's Achievement Award at the Ulsan Arts Festival in 2002. Moreover, he also held the position of president in the Ulsan Actors Association.
