Han Hyo-joo is a South Korean actress, model, and singer. She is best known for her leading roles in television series such as Heaven & Earth (2007), Iljimae (2008), Brilliant Legacy (2009), Dong Yi (2010) for which she won the coveted Best Actress award at the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards, W (2016), Happiness (2021), and Moving (2023), as well as the films Masquerade (2012), which is one of the highest grossing Korean films of all-time, Cold Eyes (2013), for which she won Best Actress at the 34th Blue Dragon Film Awards, Love 911 (2012), The Beauty Inside (2015), and The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure (2022).

His first leading role was in the film, Sorum (2001). Praised for his acting skills, he is often called 'The Acting Expert'.

Crush and Blush is a 2008 South Korean comedy film. It is the feature film debut of director Lee Kyoung-mi, and also the first film to be produced by Park Chan-wook.

Lee Min-jung is a South Korean actress. She began her career in Jang Jin's stage plays, and for a few years appeared in supporting roles on film and television. She became known after her appearance in Boys Over Flowers (2009), and landed her first lead role in family drama Smile, You (2009). She achieved widespread recognition for her leading role in the romantic comedy Cyrano Agency (2010). She also starred in Wonderful Radio (2012), Big (2012), Cunning Single Lady (2014) and Come Back Mister (2016). In 2020, she starred and gained recognition in the KBS weekend drama, Once Again.

Kim Sung-hoon, better known as Ha Jung-woo (Korean: 하정우), is a South Korean actor, film director, screenwriter and film producer. One of the highest grossing actors in South Korea, Ha's starring films have accumulated more than 100 million tickets. Only 3 other actors have reached this milestone, with Ha being nearly a decade younger than the rest when achieving this.

<i>Late Autumn</i> (2010 film) 2010 South Korean film

Late Autumn is a 2010 English-language film directed by Kim Tae-yong. It stars Tang Wei as Anna, a prisoner who is given a 72 hours parole to visit family in Seattle, and who meets and befriends a South Korean man on-the-run.

<i>Sunny</i> (2011 film) 2011 film directed by Kang Hyeong-cheol

Sunny is a 2011 South Korean comedy-drama film. The film is about a middle-aged woman who tries to fulfill her friend's dying wish of reuniting their group of high school friends. The film alternates between two timelines: the present day where the women are middle-aged, and the 1980s when they were in high school. It is the second film by writer-director Kang Hyeong-cheol, who previously directed Scandal Makers (2008).

Baek Jin-hee is a South Korean actress. She began to be known for her role in High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged (2011–2012) and rose to prominence for her role in Empress Ki (2013). She also starred in the television drama The Real Has Come! (2023).

Wonderful Radio is a 2012 South Korean romantic comedy film, starring Lee Min-jung and Lee Jung-jin. It is about a has-been pop star who is now a radio DJ struggling to boost listener ratings. It was released in theaters on January 5, 2012, by distributor Showbox/Mediaplex, and ran for 120 minutes.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Jo Eun-ji</span> South Korean actress

Jo Eun-ji is a South Korean actress. She debuted in the gritty Im Sang-soo film Tears, and has since become better known for her supporting roles on film and television, such as in The President's Last Bang, My Scary Girl, Forever the Moment, The Concubine and The Villainess. She was also the leading actress in the indies Driving with My Wife's Lover, and Sunshine Love.

Kang Sung-yeon is a South Korean actress. Kang made her acting debut in 1996 through MBC's Open Recruitment. Although her main profession was acting, she also contributed songs to several soundtracks and released two albums in 2001–2002 under the stage name Bobo. Then in 2005, Kang rose to fame when she played Prince Yeonsan's concubine Jang Nok-su in King and the Clown, a period film that drew 12.3 million admissions, making it the highest-grossing domestic film in Korean cinema history. Kang continued to star in television dramas such as Let's Get Married (2005), New Wise Mother, Good Wife (2007), Single Dad in Love (2008), Tazza (2008), and Wife Returns (2009). From 2012 to 2014, she hosted her own poetry reading program on EBS Radio.

<i>Veteran</i> (2015 film) 2015 South Korean film

Veteran is a 2015 South Korean action comedy film written and directed by Ryoo Seung-wan. It drew 13.4 million admissions, making it the 5th all-time highest-grossing film in South Korean cinema history. Veteran also won the Casa Asia Award at the Sitges Film Festival.
