A.I. Artificial Intelligence is a 2001 American science fiction film directed by Steven Spielberg. The screenplay by Spielberg and screen story by Ian Watson are loosely based on the 1969 short story "Supertoys Last All Summer Long" by Brian Aldiss. Set in a futuristic society, the film stars Haley Joel Osment as David, a childlike android uniquely programmed with the ability to love. Jude Law, Frances O'Connor, Brendan Gleeson and William Hurt star in supporting roles.
Maalaala Mo Kaya is a Philippine television drama anthology series broadcast by ABS-CBN and Kapamilya Channel. Hosted by Charo Santos-Concio, it aired from May 15, 1991 to December 10, 2022, and was replaced by the rerun of Almost Paradise. It is the longest running drama anthology series in the Philippines.

Jennifer Adriano Arias, better known by her stage names Rosanna Roces and Osang, is a Filipino actress and comedian.
Jiro Manio is a Filipino former actor. He is best known for his portrayal of the title character in the drama film Magnifico (2003), for which he won the Gawad Urian for Best Actor at age 12, making him the youngest-ever winner in that category. For that same film, he also won the PMPC Star Award for Movie Actor of the Year, FAP Award for Best Actor, and FAMAS Award for Best Child Actor—thus winning the Philippine movie grand slam. Earlier, he won the Best Child Performer award in the 2001 Metro Manila Film Festival for his role in Marilou Diaz-Abaya's Bagong Buwan (2001). He also received acting award nominations for his performances in Mila (2001) and Foster Child (2007). Manio also appeared in the comedy film Ang Tanging Ina (2003) and its sequels, the fantasy television series Spirits (2004–05), and the gay-themed comedy Manay Po (2006) and its sequel.

She is popularly known as the "Comedy Star for All Seasons" and was a sidekick of Ai-Ai delas Alas in the Ang Tanging Ina series (2003–2010), until her very first lead film role in Kimmy Dora in 2009. She is currently an exclusive artist of GMA Network. Domingo's films have collectively earned ₱1.81 billion, making her one of the highest grossing Filipino box office stars this century.

However, the film didn't make the final shortlist.
The 36th Metro Manila Film Festival - Philippines (MMFF) is the 36th edition of the annual film festival in Manila, held from December 25, 2010 until January 7, 2011. The Awards Night was held on December 26, 2010. During the festival, no foreign films are shown in Philippine theaters in order to showcase the locally produced films especially meant for the festival.

Tamara Benitez is a Filipina Cinematographer and camera operator, based in Metro Manila, Philippines. Known primarily for her underwater videography, Benitez has worked extensively for the ABS-CBN Corporation and under its production companies Star Cinema and VIVA Films, and has worked with such directors as Lav Diaz, Wenn Deramas, Sig Sanchez, Paolo Herras, and Martin Aviles. She has also worked with Cinematographer Arvin Viola on numerous occasions. Benitez is one of few female Cinematographers working in the cinema of the Philippines. In 2006 she was Director of Photography for the featured pictures Heremias and Lambanog, and in 2011 shot footage for the TV series Survivor India and served as Director of Photography for the TV series Where's Tony.

It is an official entry to the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival produced by Octo Arts Films, M-Zet Productions, APT Entertainment, GMA Pictures, and MEDA Productions. The film follows the love–hate relationship story between Vito Carillo (Sotto) and Corazon Talatala and the growing relationship between star-crossed lovers Dondi Talatala (Richards) and Anna Carillo (Mendoza).
