Raymundo Cipriano Pujante Cayabyab, known professionally as Ryan Cayabyab, is a Filipino musician, composer and conductor regarded as one of the pillars and icons of Original Pilipino Music (OPM). He was the Executive and Artistic Director for several years for the defunct San Miguel Foundation for the Performing Arts. He was named National Artist of the Philippines for Music in 2018.
Ethyl Cayoca Gabison, also known by her stage name Ethel Booba, is a Filipina TV personality, author, singer, and comedian. She has also worked in the recording industry. She was the first been crowned as the celebrity champion at Tawag ng Tanghalan of the noontime television show It's Showtime.
Julie Iris Fernandez-Lim, also known by her stage name "Juris", is a Filipino singer and songwriter.
Daniel John Elago Ford, known professionally as Daniel Padilla, is a Filipino actor and singer. He is a recipient of multiple accolades across television, film, and music, including the FAMAS Award for Best Actor and PMPC Star Award for Movie Actor of the Year, as well as three World Music Awards nominations.
Anna Fegi is a Filipino singer and actress. She has performed internationally in over seventy countries and is known for her work on the popular show ASAP on the ABS-CBN television network and The Filipino Channel (TFC), her performances in the Himig Handog competitions, as well as her two solo albums released under the Sony BMG label. Fegi is recognized by her powerful voice, high vocal range, and trademark curly hair.
Himig Handog is a multimedia songwriting and music video competition in the Philippines based in Quezon City. The competition is operated by ABS-CBN Corporation and its music subsidiary Star Music. The contest ran from 2000 to 2003 and was later revived in 2013. The theme of the contest has been love songs since 2002.
The Philippine Popular Music Festival is an annual songwriting competition organized by the Philpop MusicFest Foundation and was launched in 2012. The creation of the festival was inspired by the defunct Metro Manila Popular Music Festival. The foundation itself is headed by the chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, executive director Ryan Cayabyab and administrator and communications director Patricia Bermudez-Hizon. The competition is only open to original and previously unreleased songs in English, Filipino and other Philippine languages. Since its inception, it has been airing annually in TV5.
MNL48 is a Filipino idol girl group based in Manila, Philippines, and formed in 2015, they are the fourth international sister group of AKB48, after Indonesia's JKT48, China's SNH48 (former), and Thailand's BNK48. The group is named after Manila, the capital of the Philippines. MNL48 is the only AKB48 sister group that debuted with exactly 48 members on its First Generation.
The Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT), also known as simply Newport Theater, is a performing arts center on the grounds of Newport World Resorts in Pasay, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is a modern multi-purpose theater named after its location in the Newport Mall and entertainment complex connected to the integrated resort in the 25-hectare (62-acre) Newport City township. The 1,500-seat facility opened in 2010 and holds the widest stage in the Philippines. It is one of the three major performing arts venues in Metro Manila that plays host to both touring and locally-produced musicals, live stage shows, concerts, and regular televised events such as awards ceremonies and pageants.

Nasa Iyo Na ang Lahat is a song recorded by Filipino actor and singer Daniel Padilla as the interpreter for the Philippines' Himig Handog songwriting and music video competition in 2013. The song was written and composed by Jungee Marcelo. It was included on the 2013 compilation album Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs. The digital album was made available for download on mymusicstore.com.ph on January 8, 2013, while on iTunes and Amazon on January 11. The physical album was released on January 17. The acoustic version was later included on his first studio album DJP and Best of ABS-CBN Summer Songs. The music video of the song was released on February 4, 2013.
Patricia Janine Dusaran Berdin, simply known as Janine Berdin, is a Filipino singer and songwriter. She rose to fame when she was crowned as the grand champion of the second season of Tawag ng Tanghalan on It's Showtime.
The third season of Tawag ng Tanghalan was an amateur singing competition that aired as a segment of the noontime show It's Showtime from June 25, 2018, to September 28, 2019.
The TNT Boys is a Filipino boy band made up of three of the pre-to-early teen finalists of the 2017 television competition Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids. The members are Keifer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto, and Francis Concepcion. In 2018, TNT Boys won as the grand winner in the second season of Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids. TNT Boys are the first Filipino act to perform in the four franchises of the talent show Little Big Shots in the Philippines, United States, United Kingdom and Australia.
Zephanie Odhene Liwag Dimaranan, also mononymously known as Zephanie, is a Filipino singer, actress and host. She is known as the winner of the first season of Idol Philippines. Dimaranan is dubbed as "This Generation's Pop Princess" in the country by various media outlets.
Elaine Colima Duran-Pengson is a Filipino singer best known for being crowned as the third season grand champion of Tawag ng Tanghalan on the noon-time television show It's Showtime.
The discography of MNL48 consists of seven singles. The A-side (main) song is performed by a special member selection called the senbatsu. Each team are given one song per single, which they have to audition to get it. The songs are covers of the Japanese songs originally recorded by AKB48, the sister group of MNL48 with the Japanese lyrics translated into Filipino.
Sheena Librel Belarmino, is a Filipino singer, dancer, and actress. She rose to prominence after becoming a grand finalist on Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids in 2017 alongside TNT boys. In 2015, she joined Dance Kids and made it into the quarter-finals. Belarmino also garnered a record of most wins on Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids Season 2 where she emerged as the 4th placer in the Grand Finals. Belarmino was a member of the all-female vocal group New Gen Divas along with Elha Nympha, Zephanie and Janine Berdin.
"Diamante" (transl. "Diamond") is a song recorded by Filipino singer Morissette. This song was among the top 15 finalists for the 2016 Himig Handog: P-Pop Love Songs songwriting competition. The song was written by Jungee Marcelo and was included in the compilation album titled Himig Handog P-pop Love Songs (2016), which was released on January 13, 2016.
