Seo Bok is a 2021 South Korean sci-fi action film directed by Lee Yong-ju and starring Gong Yoo, Park Bo Gum and Jang Young-nam. The film revolves around a former intelligence agent Gi-heon, who gets involved with the first human clone, Seo Bok. Principal photography began in May 2019. The film with production cost of ₩16.5 billion was anticipated to release in December 2020 but its release was postponed due to the resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally the film was released simultaneously in theatres and via streaming media TVING on April 15, 2021. In Vietnam, this film was premiered exclusively on iQiyi on April 22, 2021.
Collectors is a 2020 South Korean heist caper story film directed by Park Jung-bae and produced by Hwang Dong-hyuk. The film starring Lee Je-hoon, Jo Woo-jin, Shin Hye-sun and Im Won-hee, tells the caper story of a grave robbery taking place in the heart of Seoul.
Pawn is a 2020 South Korean family friendly drama film, directed by Kang Dae-gyu and produced by Yoon Je-kyoon. The film starring Sung Dong-il, Ha Ji-won, Kim Hee-won and Park So-yi, is a human drama which revolves around two debt collectors, Doo-seok and Jong-bae, who take nine-year-old girl Seung-yi as "collateral" from her mother, an illegal immigrant.
Emergency Declaration is a 2021 South Korean aviation disaster-action film directed by Han Jae-rim and starring Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, Jeon Do-yeon, Kim Nam-gil, Im Si-wan, Kim So-jin and Park Hae-joon. Filming restarted on September 12, 2020, after postponement due to COVID-19 resurgence in August 2020. The film was wrapped up on October 24, 2020.
The Book of Fish is a 2021 South Korean historical black and white film directed by Lee Joon-ik. The film starring Sol Kyung-gu and Byun Yo-han, is about an exiled Joseon era scholar and a fisherman and their exchange of knowledge in writing a book. The film was theatrically released on March 31, 2021 by Megabox.
Escape from Mogadishu is a 2021 South Korean action drama film, directed by Ryoo Seung-wan and starring Kim Yoon-seok, Jo In-sung, Heo Joon-ho and Kim So-jin. The film, based on real events, is set during the Somali Civil War and the two Koreas' efforts to be admitted to the United Nations in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It depicts details of a perilous escape attempt made by North and South Korean embassy workers stranded during the conflict.
Perhaps Love is a 2021 South Korean comedy-drama film, directed by Jo Eun-ji for Next Entertainment. Starring Ryu Seung-ryong, Oh Na-ra and Kim Hee-won, the film revolves around a best selling writer named Hyeon who's been in the slumps for 7 years. Then he meets an aspiring author Yoo-jin, who brings about change in his values.
Kingmaker is a 2022 South Korean political drama film, written and directed by Sung-Hyun for Seed Film and starring Sol Kyung-gu, Lee Sun-kyun and Yoo Jae-myung. It was scheduled to be theatrically released on December 29, 2021 but due to rapid increase in COVID-19 pandemic it was released on January 26, 2022 to coincide with Korean New Year holidays. The film was also officially invited in competition section at the 24th Udine Far East Film Festival held from April 22 to 30, 2022.
Special Delivery is a 2022 South Korean crime action film, written and directed by Park Dae-min for M Pictures. Starring Park So-dam, Song Sae-byeok and Kim Eui-sung, the film revolves around a delivery driver with a 100% success rate, things start happening when she is involved in an unexpected incident after a young child boards into her car. It was theatrical released on January 12, 2022.
Confession is a 2022 South Korean mystery thriller film directed by Yoon Jong-seok, starring So Ji-sub, Kim Yunjin, Nana and Hwang Sun-hee. Based on Oriol Paulo's 2016 Spanish film The Invisible Guest, the film depicts a story about a man who has been pointed out as the culprit of a locked-room murder and his lawyer approaching the truth.
