ATV was owned by Çalık Holding's Turkuvaz Media Group, but in 2013, its ownership changed again to Kalyon Group.

Sıla Gençoğlu is a Turkish singer-songwriter. She was born in Acıpayam, Denizli, and later moved to İzmir and then to Istanbul to finish her studies. She started to learn performing arts at high school. After studying jazz at Istanbul Bilgi University, she became a backing vocalist for Kenan Doğulu.

The 2011–12 season was Fenerbahçe's 54th consecutive season in the Süper Lig and their 105th year in existence.

İzmit is the central district of Kocaeli province, Turkey. It is located at the Gulf of İzmit in the Sea of Marmara, about 100 km (62 mi) east of Istanbul, on the northwestern part of Anatolia. As of the last estimation, the city center had a population of 367,990. Kocaeli province had a population of 2,033,441 inhabitants, of whom approximately 1.2 million lived in the largely urban İzmit City metro area made up of Kartepe, Başiskele, Körfez, Gölcük, Derince and Sapanca. Unlike other provinces in Turkey, apart from Istanbul, the whole province is included within the municipality of the metropolitan center.

Bağlar is one of Diyarbakır's central districts in Turkey. In the local elections of March 2019, Zeyyat Ceylan was elected as a Mayor with 70,34% of the votes. But on 11 April the Supreme Election Board decided not to deliver him the right to serve as Mayor due to having been dismissed from public office before. The Mayorship was instead delivered to Hüseyin Beyoğlu from the Justice and Development Party (AKP) who polled second with 25,46%.
