'Four Hands' is a Taiwanese drama directed by You-Ning Lee, starring Wu Hsing-kuo. The movie premiered on 12 October 2014 in Taiwan. The story depicts a veteran of the Republic of China Army from Shantung who settled in Taiwan, separated from his family due to the Chinese Civil War. The film deals with the affairs of a three-generation family across the Taiwan Strait. The Chinese title comes from the yeast used when making mantou.

Mom Thinks I'm Crazy to Marry a Japanese Guy is a 2017 romantic-comedy film directed by Akihisa Yachida. Based upon a non-fiction book by Mr. and Mrs. Mogi, the film is a co-production between Japan and Taiwan, and stars Jian Man-shu and Yuta Nakano. The film was theatrically released on May 27, 2017 in Japan and in Taiwan on June 16, 2017.

The Tag-Along 2 is a 2017 Taiwanese horror film directed by Cheng Wei-hao. It is a sequel to The Tag-Along (2015), which is adapted from the well-known Taiwanese urban legend, "The Little Girl in Red". The film stars Rainie Yang, Hsu Wei-ning, Francesca Kao, Lung Shao-hua and River Huang. It was released on August 25, 2017.
All Because of Love is a 2017 Taiwanese romance film directed by Lien Yi-chi, starring Kent Tsai, Dara Hanfman, Gingle Wang and Lee Ying-hung. It was released in theaters on August 18, 2017.
Wu Nien-hsuan is a Taiwanese actor and television host. He was nominated for a Golden Horse Award and a Golden Bell Award for his roles in the film The Tag-Along 2 (2017) and the television series Age of Rebellion (2018), respectively.
Turn Around is a 2017 Taiwanese drama film directed by Chen Ta-pu. The plot is loosely based on the true story of Wang Cheng-chung, a passionate teacher who has won multiple educational awards in Taiwan. After the 921 earthquake in 1999, Wang makes the decision to teach at a countryside school which was hit by the earthquake. Employing a creative teaching method, he is determined to reverse the perception of rural education in Taiwan. The film stars Jay Shih and Kimi Hsia.

Hsieh Ying-xuan is a Taiwanese actress. She won the Best Leading Actress award at the 55th Golden Horse Awards for her role in Dear Ex (2018).

Caitlin Fang is a Taiwanese actress. She won the Golden Horse Award for Best New Performer and the Taipei Film Award for Best New Talent for her role in the film American Girl (2021).
