This is a list of intersex characters in fiction, i.e. fictional characters that either self-identify as intersex or have been identified by outside parties to be intersex. Listed characters are either recurring characters, cameos, guest stars, or one-off characters.
The names are organized alphabeticallyby surname (i.e. last name), or by single name if the character does not have a surname. If more than two characters are in one entry, the last name of the first character is used.

Ryo Asuka | Devilman Crybaby | January 5, 2018 | Ryo Asuka is a genderless angel who is Akira Fudo's best friend, while Akira is the protagonist. Akira was the first person to show him kindness, causing him to become deeply attached. [1] Near the end, Ryo remembers he is Satan, an intersex fallen angel who fell out of favor with God when he challenged God's authority for killing the demons and replacing them with humans. [2] Satan set out to start a war between humans and demons and was reborn as a male. He fell in love with Akira and subconsciously had him turned into a devilman (a demon human hybrid) to ensure he would survive the war and be by his side. By the end of the series, Satan realizes he loves Akira despite having previously believed love did not exist and cries and mourns Akira's death. [3] Akira is in a relationship with a woman, but his feelings towards Ryo have been described as homoerotic. [4] | Japan |
Crimvael "Crim" | Interspecies Reviewers | January 11, 2020 | A well-endowed intersex angel with a broken halo, [5] Crimvael has male and female genitalia, as noted throughout the series. [6] Despite Crim’s feminine appearance, they chooses to identify as male upon meeting Stunk and Zel in episode 1, to avoid the two from trying anything perverted on them. Crim hinted to be bisexual in episode 3 [7] and in episode 9, [8] the narrator uses the pronoun "they" to refer to Crim. This is due to Crim having no set gender, much like the rest of the angels, and the narrator takes note on that. | |

Intersex people are born with sex characteristics, such as genitals, gonads and chromosome patterns, "that do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies". Literary descriptions may use older or different language for intersex traits, including describing intersex people as hermaphrodites, neither wholly male or female, or a combination of male and female. This page examines intersex characters in fictional works as a whole, focusing on characters and tropes over time.
Maria Luísa Mendonça is a Brazilian actress. She debuted in television by acting in the 1993 telenovela Renascer in the role of an intersex woman, Buba. Debuting in cinema with Quem Matou Pixote?, her first most prominent role in films was in Foolish Heart, for which she was nominated for Best Actress at the 1st Grande Prêmio Cinema Brasil and at the Silver Condor Award.

Queerbaiting is a marketing technique for fiction and entertainment in which creators hint at, but do not depict, same-sex romance or other LGBTQ+ representation. What is masculinity and femininity? I want to hit Hitomi-chan as it is without being swayed by such a thing! If you have a strong feeling and an unbreakable heart, you can overcome any wall! I want to say, but it's a tantrum. Because you are trying to get over it, you're a kuso hyena and a xoratelle.
