Paul Dye Jr., commonly referred to as Pete Dye, was an American golf course designer and a member of a family of course designers. He was married to fellow designer and amateur champion Alice Dye.

Lions Municipal Golf Course, nicknamed Muny, is a municipal golf course at 2901 Enfield Road in Austin, Texas. The golf course occupies 141 acres of land the City of Austin leases from the University of Texas since 1937 as part of the greater Brackenridge Tract. The golf course has been subject to ongoing controversy due to the recommended termination of the current term by the University of Texas in 2019. A report commissioned by the city found that Muny's burdensome property lease payment is a primary challenge in operating Austin's public golf courses.

Lakewood Country Club is a private country club in Dallas, Texas, United States, founded in 1912, and is now often referred to simply as Lakewood. It is located at the corner of Gaston and Abrams Avenues in Lakewood, Dallas, Texas, about five miles east, northeast of downtown Dallas. Lakewood Country Club hosted the Texas Victory Open, a PGA Tour golf tournament now known as the HP Byron Nelson Championship, in 1944, the only year the tournament was won by renowned professional golfer Byron Nelson, who is now the tournament's namesake.

Cabot Links is a golf course located in Inverness, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is a full 18-hole true links course, but a 10-hole version of the course was opened in 2011. It was designed by Alberta native, Rod Whitman and is located on a former coal mine along the coast of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.

Streamsong Resort is a golf and spa resort developed by The Mosaic Company in Bowling Green, Florida on a 16,000 acre property near Fort Meade, Florida. The resort includes a 228-room hotel and three golf courses built on the site of a former phosphate strip mine. Fishing on various lakes and clay-shooting are also offered.

Gilbert Hanse is an American golf course designer. Hanse, along with his business partner Jim Wagner, was selected to design the Rio 2016 Olympic Golf Course, the first Olympic venue to host golf since 1904.

Trinity Forest Golf Club is an 18-hole private golf club in the southern United States, located in Dallas, Texas.

Sand Hills Golf Club is a golf club in Mullen, Nebraska, United States. Notable for its remote location and minimalist design among the sandhills of Nebraska, it is consistently ranked among the top golf courses in the world and the best courses designed since 1960, notably being named #1 in Golfweek magazine's 2022 list of the "Top 200 Modern Courses", defined as courses built no earlier than 1960, in the United States. The golf course architecture website Golf Club Atlas called it "the most natural course built in the United States since World War I".

The International Golf Club & Resort is a 36 hole golf course located in Bolton, Massachusetts. At one time, it had the longest 18 hole course in the United States and in 2022 hosted the LIV Golf Invitational Boston.

Onion Creek Club in a 27 hole golf course located in Austin, Texas. Opened in 1974, it is the only golf course designed by Jimmy Demaret, three-time Masters winner. The course was restored by Coore & Crenshaw in 2014 after being destroyed by a flood the same year.
