Pakistan has regularly played home matches at venues in the United Arab Emirates since 2002 due to the security situation in Pakistan. A number of five-wicket hauls have been taken on these grounds during matches when Pakistan was the home side.
The team also played one home Test match at Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu Stadium in Sri Lanka in 2002 – the first match of a three match series against Australia [lower-alpha 6] – and two home Test matches against the same opposition in England in 2010. Two five-wicket hauls were taken in the match played in Sri Lanka, two at Lord's and one at Headingley. The two countries also played a single One Day International with Lord's as the venue in 2004, and two Twenty20 International matches at Edgbaston in 2010. [lower-alpha 7]
