The locations given are the locations of the beatification ceremonies, and not necessarily the birthplaces or homelands of the beatified. As of July 2025, 199 would be subsequently canonized, of which Pope John Paul II himself presided over the canonizations of 96 of these same individuals. All of the beatifications listed have taken place within St. Peter's Square or St. Peter's Basilica, unless stated otherwise.
