Pozornica dramske umetnosti grb.png Drama Art Scene and Correspondence Theatre Novi Sad The Drama Art Scene was founded in 1974 as a cultural and artistic society, within which the amateur scene, the professional scene and the universal animation system Correspondence Theatre operated. The professional stage of the Drama Art Scene was created as the third professional theater in the Serbian language in Novi Sad and was active during the 1990s. In the following period, only the amateur scene remains active.

Kosovo Partially recognised state in Southeastern Europe

Kosovo, officially the Republic of Kosovo, is a partially recognised state in Southeast Europe. It lies at the centre of the Balkans, occupying an area of 10,887 km2 (4,203 sq mi), with a population of about 1.8 million. Kosovo unilaterally declared its independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008, and has since gained diplomatic recognition as a sovereign state by 97 member states of the United Nations. It is bordered by Serbia to the north and east, North Macedonia to the southeast, Albania to the southwest, and Montenegro to the west. Most of central Kosovo is dominated by the vast plains and fields of Metohija and Kosovo. The Accursed Mountains and Šar Mountains rise in the southwest and southeast, respectively. Serbia has a population of almost 7 million, with Belgrade as its capital and largest city.

Yugoslavia Country in Southeastern Europe, 1918–1992

Yugoslavia was a country in Southeast Europe and Central Europe for most of the 20th century. It came into existence after World War I in 1918 under the name of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes by the merger of the provisional State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs with the Kingdom of Serbia, and constituted the first union of the South Slavic people as a sovereign state, following centuries in which the region had been part of the Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary. Peter I of Serbia was its first sovereign. The kingdom gained international recognition on 13 July 1922 at the Conference of Ambassadors in Paris. The official name of the state was changed to Kingdom of Yugoslavia on 3 October 1929.

Nenad Zimonjić is a Serbian professional tennis player who was ranked World No. 1 in 2008 in doubles. Serbia Challenger Open Tennis tournament

The MT:S Open powered by Sony Ericsson and now known as the Serbia Challenger Open is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It is part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the Challenger series of the WTA Tour. It was held annually at the Tennis Club Gemax until 2010 before its relocation to the Novak Tennis Centre since 2021 in Belgrade, Serbia. The tournament was first played in 2002. The women's edition started in 2021.
