Serbia is mountainous, with complex geology and parts of several mountain ranges: Dinaric Alps in the southwest, the northwestern corner of the Rila-Rhodope Mountains in the southeast of the country, Carpathian Mountains in the northeast, and Balkan Mountains and the easternmost section of Srednogorie mountain chain system in the east, separated by a group of dome mountains along the Morava river valley. The northern province of Vojvodina lies in the Pannonian plain, with several Pannonian island mountains. Mountains of Kosovo are listed in a separate article.

Serbia is a small country situated at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe, covering the far southern edges of the Pannonian Plain and the central Balkans. It shares borders with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Romania. Serbia shares a contested border with Albania as it doesn't recognise the independence of Kosovo. Serbia is landlocked, though it is able to access the Adriatic Sea through Montenegro and inland Europe and the Black Sea via the Danube.
Suva Planina is a mountain in southeastern Serbia. It lies between the towns of Niška Banja to the northwest and Babušnica to the southeast, with a ridge branching towards Bela Palanka to the north. It was previously called Kunovica.
Jablanik is a mountain in western Serbia, near the town of Valjevo. Its highest peak Jablanik has an elevation of 1,275 meters above sea level.
Radan is a mountain in southern Serbia, near the town of Kuršumlija. Its highest peak, Šopot, has an elevation of 1,408 meters above sea level.

Kotlenik is a mountain in central Serbia, near the town of Kraljevo. Its highest peak Veliki vrh has an elevation of 749 meters above sea level.
Ravna planina is a mountain in central Serbia, near the town of Vrnjačka Banja. Its highest peak Crni vrh has an elevation of 1,542 meters above sea level.
Zlatar is a mountain range in southwestern Serbia, lying between towns of Prijepolje and Nova Varoš. Its highest peak is Velika krseva, 1,627 meters tall, peak next to Golo brdo. It belongs to Stari Vlah group of Dinaric Alps. Zlatar is bounded by rivers Uvac, Lim, Mileševka and Bistrica, and has a total of four artificial lakes – Zlatar Lake, Radoinjsko Lake, Uvac Lake and Potpeć. Mountainous climate with significant mediterranean influence, dense pine forests, and a high number of sunny days, is suitable for medicinal purposes and altitude training. At the elevation of 1,237 meters, there is a Special Rehabilitation Hospital "Zlatar" with 330 beds.
Malinik is a mountain in eastern Serbia. Its highest peak, Veliki Malinik has an elevation of 1,158 metres above sea level. Smaller peak, Mali Malinik, is 1019 m.
Tupižnica is a mountain in eastern Serbia, between towns of Boljevac, Zaječar and Knjaževac. Its highest peaks, Bučanski kamen and Glogovački vrh have an elevation of 1,160 m and 1,162 m.

Ježevac is a mountain in eastern Serbia, near the town of Petrovac na Mlavi. Its highest peak has an elevation of 675 meters above sea level. Ježevac sharply rises over the southern edge of Mlava river gorge, entering the Homolje region. On the mountain, there is Gornjak Monastery Monastery carved into limestone rocks.
Miroč is a mountain in eastern Serbia, between the towns of Donji Milanovac and Tekija. Its highest peak Štrbac has an elevation of 768 meters (2,520 ft) above sea level. Along with Liškovac, it is part of the Iron Gate gorge of the Danube river. It is located in the Đerdap national park.
Pobijenik is a mountain in western Serbia, between cities of Prijepolje and Priboj. Its highest peak Borak has an elevation of 1,423 meters above sea level.
Stolovi is a mountain in central Serbia, near the city of Kraljevo. Its highest peak Usovica has an elevation of 1,356 meters above sea level.
Studena planina is a mountain in central Serbia, near the city of Kraljevo. Its highest peak Kavgalija has an elevation of 1,355 meters above sea level. It stretches from west to east from the Ibar river valley towards the mountain of Goč, forming a continuous ridge with Ravna planina.
Subjel is a mountain in central Serbia, near the town of Kosjerić. Its highest peak Subjel has an elevation of 924 meters above sea level.
Svrljig Mountains is a mountain in eastern Serbia, between towns of Svrljig at northwest and Bela Palanka at southeast. Its highest peak Zeleni vrh has an elevation of 1,334 meters above sea level. The peak Pleš lies close to Niška Banja.
Troglav is a mountain in central Serbia, near the city of Kraljevo. Its highest peak Kom has an elevation of 1,178 meters above sea level.
Velika Rudoka is the highest peak of the Rudoka Mountain, situated in the Šar Mountains range, exactly on the border between Kosovo and North Macedonia. With the altitude of 2,660 metres, it is the highest mountain of Kosovo, and also the highest mountain of Serbia according to the view held by the government of Serbia. In some older sources, the altitude was stated to be 2,658 metres, but newer measurements showed that the true altitude is 2 metres higher.
