Paynesville is a village in Pike County, Missouri, United States. The population was 77 at the 2010 census.
The Washington Avenue Historic District is located in Downtown West, St. Louis, Missouri along Washington Avenue, and bounded by Delmar Boulevard to the north, Locust Street to the south, 8th Street on the east, and 18th Street on the west. The buildings date from the late 19th century to the early 1920s. They exhibit a variety of popular architectural styles of those years, but most are revival styles or in the commercial style that would later come to be known as the Chicago School of architecture. Most are large multi-story buildings of brick and stone construction, built as warehouses for the St. Louis garment district. Many have terra cotta accents on their facades. After World War II, the decline in domestic garment production and the preference for single-story industrial space led to many of the buildings being vacant or underused due to functional obsolescence.
The Ballenger Building, also known as G.F. Troxell Furniture Store, Taylor Music and Furniture Co., and Safeway, is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was originally built about 1892, and expanded rearward about 1904. It was extensively remodeled in 1928. It is a two-story brick building on a stone foundation. It features terra cotta ornamentation and Chicago school style windows. Today it holds Kaldi's Coffee House.
The Central Dairy Building, also known as Downtown Appliance and Gunther's Games, is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was built in 1927, and enlarged to its present size in 1940. It is a two-story brick building with terra cotta ornamentation elaborate classical and baroque design motifs. Also on the property is a contributing brick warehouse, constructed about 1940. Today the building houses an appliance store and restaurants on the first floor and lofts on the second.
The Coca-Cola Bottling Company Building, also known as the Kelly Press Building, is a historic commercial building located on Hitt Street in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was built in 1935, and is a 1 1/2-story, Colonial Revival style brick building with a side gable roof with three dormers. It has a long one-story rear ell. Today it houses Uprise Bakery, Ragtag Cinema, Ninth Street Video, and Hitt Records.
The First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site is a state-owned property in St. Charles, Missouri, preserving the building that served as Missouri's capitol from 1821 to 1826. The site is part of the St. Charles Historic District in the city's Riverfront neighborhood. It was acquired by the state in 1960 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.

The Kress Building, also known as Kress Wholesale Company Store and Mehornay Furniture Store, is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was built in 1910 for the S. H. Kress & Co., and remodeled in 1946 when it became Mehornay Furniture. It is a tall two-story, brick building with an open storefront topped by horizontal metal banding, that consists of large plate glass windows.
The McCain Furniture Store Building is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was built about 1930 for the S. H. Kress & Co., and remodeled in 1951. It is a two-story, brick building with a simple stepped parapet. Though it has hosted a variety of businesses since the closing of the original store, today it holds Plasma Biological Services.
The IOOF Hall and Fromberg Co-operative Mercantile Building was built in 1906 at the west end of downtown Fromberg, Montana. It was the first brick building in Fromberg and served historically as a department store and as a meeting hall. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
The IOOF Liberty Lodge No. 49, built in 1923, is a historic commercial building in Liberty, Missouri. It served historically as an Independent Order of Odd Fellows meeting hall and as a specialty store. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
The Fifth and Main Historic District is a collection of adjoining structures and national historic district located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Main and Fifth streets in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri, United States. This historic district consists of three early 20th century structures: the Christman Building, the Christman Building Annex and the Paramount Building. The Fifth and Main Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. In 2008, it was encompassed by the Joplin Downtown Historic District.
Walnut Inn, also known as the Hanna, Hunter, & Co., Hanna Travis & Co., and Williamson & Travis, was a historic hotel and commercial building located at Tarkio, Atchison County, Missouri. It was built as a store about 1884 and converted to a hotel in 1911. It was a two-story, rectangular brick building. The building measured 54 feet wide and extended 100 feet deep. It featured a wraparound porch.
Wright-Dalton-Bell-Anchor Department Store Building, also known as the Dalton Store and F.W. Woolworth Store, is a historic commercial building located at Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri. It was built in 1927–1928, and is a two-to three-story, rectangular brick building with terracotta embellishments. It features shaped parapets with terracotta coping and quatrefoil insets and a decorative terracotta signboard and storefront surround. An F.W. Woolworth store occupied the building from 1947 to about 1987.
H. E. Gensky Grocery Store Building, also known as Capitol City Lodge No. 9 F. & A.M. and Cherry Street Market, is a historic commercial building located at Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. It was built in 1915, and is a two-story, rectangular, brick building. It has a front gable roof and features a two-tiered, recessed front porch supported by continuous, slender brick columns. The building exemplifies Missouri-German craftsmanship.
John E. Cheatham House is a historic home located at Lexington, Lafayette County, Missouri. It was built about 1868, and is a two-story, Italianate style brick dwelling. It has a low-pitched, metal-covered hipped roof with a bracketed cornice. A one-story kitchen addition was constructed about 1880. Also on the property is the contributing brick root cellar.
McKittrick Farmers Mercantile is a historic commercial building located at McKittrick, Montgomery County, Missouri. It was built about 1897, and is a two-story, brick building on a concrete foundation. The McKittrick Farmers Mercantile was locally significant in the areas of commerce, entertainment, and recreation. It was the commercial and entertainment center as part of the Missouri Kansas and Texas Railroad line of the 1890s.
Mindrup House-Store is a historic home and store located at Augusta, St. Charles County, Missouri. The house was built about 1860, and is a three-story, facchwerk timber frame dwelling. The store occupied the first floor with living quarters above. A two-story brick and frame addition was added about 1890. The addition has a hipped roof and features a two-story gallery porch.
