Meru is a town in Klang District, Selangor, Malaysia and can be easily accessed via a 45-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur via the New Klang Valley Expressway and a 15-minute drive from Klang via Jalan Meru.
Meru is home to Top Glove which is the nation's largest producer of latex gloves. Numerous small-medium industrial complex are located in Meru which is less than 10 km from the heart of Klang.
This town is currently losing its prominence, especially the Klang Parade as there are newer towns in Klang. One location that is currently very popular is Bandar Bukit Tinggi, a new and modern town area in the south of Klang. Because of that, Klang Parade is struggling to get customers.
However, due to the recent property developments at nearby areas such as Setia Alam (part of Shah Alam), Klang Sentral and Bandar Bukit Raja, Meru is all set to see a raise in traffic volume.
Bangsar is a residential suburb on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, lying about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south-west of the city centre. It is part of the Lembah Pantai parliamentary constituency. Bangsar is administered by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), unlike other townships in the Klang Valley such as Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya which have their municipal councils. The New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), designated E1, is an expressway entirely within the Klang Valley region of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur in Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway begins at the settlement of Bukit Raja near Klang, and ends at Jalan Duta in Kuala Lumpur. The 35-kilometre (22-mile) expressway is one of the most heavily utilised expressways in the Klang Valley region. The expressway shares its designation with the North–South Expressway Northern Route.

Overseas Union Garden, also known as OUG and Taman Overseas Union, is a main township in the Seputeh constituency in south-western Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Situated mainly atop a hill, this township is located along Old Klang Road roughly halfway between Kuala Lumpur and Subang Jaya, and was opened in the mid 1970s.
Bandar Kinrara is a township in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia. The Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve is situated to its south. Island & Peninsular Berhad commenced the township development under Perumahan Kinrara Berhad in 1991. The only link road to the development then was via Jalan Puchong before entering Kinrara Army Camp road. Bandar Kinrara 1 was constructed for low-cost terrace houses before Bandar Kinrara 2 double storey terraces begun construction. The construction of Bukit Jalil Highway helped Bandar Kinrara to expand the development phase on both side of the highway. An underpass linked both sides of the development.
