The Ministry of Transport and Logistics is a ministry of the Government of Zambia responsible for the administration and regulation of land, sea and air transportation [1] in Zambia. [2] [3]
The Ministry of Transport was formed 1964 out of the then Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
The Ministry is headed by the Minister for Transport and Logistics, who is appointed as part of the Cabinet of Zambia. The minister is Mr Frank Tayali. [2]

He is a member of the United Party for National Development (UPND). He was born on 13 January 1975 in Zambia. He holds Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a Law Degree (LLB).
