Miss World 2007 was the 57th edition of the Miss World pageant, held at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China, on December 1, 2007.
Miss World 1998, the 48th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 26 November 1998 at the Lake Berjaya Mahé Resort in Mahé Island, Seychelles. 86 delegates from around the world competed for the crown. Ronan Keating, then lead singer of Boyzone, and MTV's Eden Harel hosted the event. This year's winner, Israel's Linor Abargil, revealed days after the competition that she had been raped several weeks before the pageant. She was crowned by Miss World 1997, Diana Hayden of India.

He defeated 47 other challengers from around the world to earn the Mister World 2013 title. Francisco studied Business Administration at Monroe College, NY, and is a pole vaulter.

This marks Venezuela's eighth victory at Miss International - the most in the pageant's history. This is the third time in Miss International history that the finals night saw the return of the previous year's runners-up to crown their respective successors. This year Miss International comeback edition with the theme "Cheer All Woman" alongside Miss International Japan 2019.

Miss Grand Sri Lanka is a national beauty pageant in Sri Lanka, founded in 2016 by a Colombo-based designer and event organizer Brian Kerkoven, aiming to select the country representative to compete in its parent contest Miss Grand International. The contest was held twice in 2016 and 2018, after that the Sri Lankan candidates at Miss Grand International were appointed instead.
