Nagercoil division is a revenue division in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu, India.

Kanyakumari district is the southernmost district in Tamil Nadu state and mainland India. It stands second in terms of population density among the districts of Tamil Nadu and next only to Chennai district. It is the richest district in Tamil Nadu in terms of per capita income, and also tops the state in Human Development Index (HDI), literacy and education. The district headquarters is [[Nagercoil], 19 kilometers from Kanyakumari Cape Comorin.

The annexation commenced by Veera Kerala Varma was to a large extent continued by his successors and completed by 1115 A.D.

It is 25 km (16 mi) N of Nagercoil) and 32 km (20 mi) NW of Kanyakumari. This 20 km2 (7.7 sq mi) area is proposed to be a Wildlife Sanctuary.

Kanyakumari Lok Sabha constituency Tamil: கன்னியாகுமரி is one of the 39 Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu state in southern India. It was formed after the delimitation in 2008 by merging Kanyakumari assembly segment from the erstwhile Tiruchendur constituency with the erstwhile Nagercoil constituency. This happened to be the strongest constituency for the Congress party in the whole of India.
