Eraniel Railway station in Eraniel is the most important railway station of Kallkkulam taluk of Kanyakumari district in the Tamil Nadu state of India. The station has two platforms and falls on the Kanyakumari–Thiruvananthapuram line in the Thiruvananthapuram division of the Southern Railway zone. All daily trains passing through the station halts in Eraniel station. The famous Mandaikadu Bagavathi Amman Temple, Colachel Port, I.R.E Industries in Manavalakurichi and Padmanabhapuram Palace are situated nearby the station. The station also is the nearest railhead for two municipalities – Padmanabapuram, Colachel and for 25 villages.

Neyyattinkara railway station is the fourth-busiest after Trivandrum North and sixth most revenue generating railway station in the district managed by the Thiruvananthapuram Division of the Southern Railways. In 2018–19 FY, Neyyattinkara generated Rs 2.32cr profit from 1.7 million passengers.

Nagercoil Town railway station (NJT) is an "HG-1" railway station located on the Kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu. Nagercoil Town railway station comes under the Thiruvananthapuram Railway division of Southern Railways. It is on the Thiruvananthapuram–Nagercoil–Kanyakumari railway line between the Aaloor railway station and the Nagercoil Junction railway station. Eighteen trains halt on this station which has one platform and is in the Thiruvananthapuram division of the Southern Railway zone. The station is in proximity to Vadasery bus stand.
Nagercoil Municipal Corporation is located in Kanyakumari district. Nagercoil is the administrative headquarters of Kanyakumari district and it is located in southern Tamil Nadu. The municipality is located 18 km north of Kanyakumari. Nagercoil Corporation is a forum with 52 members. At present Kottar, Asaripallam and Ilangadai are the important places in Nagercoil Corporation. The annual tax revenue of this corporation is 81 crore rupees.
