National Unity (Spanish : Unidad Nacional, UN) is a Peruvian electoral coalition composed of the Christian People's Party - PPC, the Unity and Peace Party, and Peruvians United: We Are Free. [1] The coalition's name reflects its ideological continuity with a previous centre-right alliance led by the PPC, which backed Lourdes Flores as its presidential candidate in the 2001 and 2006 general elections. [2]
The coalition is slated to participate of the 2026 general election with incumbent congressman Roberto Chiabra (Unity and Peace) as its presidential nominee. [3]

Three political parties have formalized the "National Unity" alliance ahead of the 2026 general elections, and have designated former congressman Roberto Chiabra as their presidential nominee.
Three political parties have requested registration of the National Unity electoral alliance, which will be headed by Congressman Roberto Chiabra as the presidential candidate, with the National Elections Board (JNE), with a view to the 2026 general elections.
At an extraordinary national congress, the Christian People's Party agreed this Saturday to participate in the upcoming 2026 general elections in an electoral alliance with the Unity and Peace Party. The president of the latter group, Roberto Chiabra, who is also a congressman, will be the candidate for the presidential seat.
Congressman Roberto Chiabra successfully registered his political party, "Unity and Peace," with the Registry of Political Organizations (ROP) of the National Elections Board (JNE), thereby qualifying it to participate in the 2026 presidential and parliamentary elections.
