Background

The first concerts of the Never Ending Tour 2020 were announced on October 27, 2019. [4] [5] Taking place across three Zepp venues in Tokyo and Osaka in Japan. Dylan and his band previous toured Japan in 2016 and played at the Fuji Rock Festival in 2018. [6]

On March 9, a twenty-six date arena and amphitheatre tour across the United States was announced, beginning in Bend, Oregon and crossing fifteen states, before finishing in Rochester, New York. [7] [8] Dylan and his band were to be supported by Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and The Hot Club of Cowtown. [9]

The concerts scheduled to take place in Japan were cancelled on March 13, 2020 due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. The tour promoters stated that they wished to rescheduled at a later date. [10]

On May 12, 2020 it was announced that all North American concerts scheduled for June and July 2020 were also cancelled, due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. [11] Dylan and his band were going to be supported by Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats [12] and The Hot Club of Cowtown. [13]
