Noranda railway station is a suburban rail station under construction as part of the Transperth network. It is planned to open in 2024 as a station on the Ellenbrook line, serving the Perth suburbs of Beechboro, Kiara and Noranda. It is being built in the median of Tonkin Highway, just north of Benara Road.
In August 2019, the location of the station was revealed. In November 2019, Metronet did a community survey to decide where to put the station car park. The three options were south-west, north-west or north-east of Benara Road and Tonkin Highway. In the end, the north-east option was the most preferred option, with 66% of respondents preferring that option. The reasons included that it does not require a signalised intersection unlike the other options, and it had the largest amount of car bays of the three options. [1] [2]
In September 2020, Laing O'Rourke was announced as the preferred proponent for the construction of the Morley–Ellenbrook railway line. [3] [4]
Noranda railway station will be built just north of Benara Road in the Tonkin Highway median, similar to many stations along the Yanchep and Mandurah lines. Passengers will access the station by either a walkway to the Benara Road bridge or a walkway across Tonkin Highway to the carpark. The carpark will be located east of Tonkin Highway and be accessed via Benara Road. It will have 400 car bays and a drop off zone. Two bus stands will be located on Benara Road. A pedestrian underpass will be built under Benara Road to allow pedestrians to safely and easily access the station and bus stop. Facilities at the station will include passenger toilets and a kiosk. Noranda station will be served by Transperth Trains operating along the Ellenbrook line to Perth and Ellenbrook railway stations. It is projected that a journey to Perth will take 18 minutes. Noranda station is in fare zone 2. [5] Noranda station is projected to have 1,810 passenger boardings per day in 2031. [6]
East Perth railway station is located on the Midland line and Airport line in Perth, Western Australia. It is operated by Transperth serving the suburb of East Perth. It is adjacent to the East Perth Terminal and Public Transport Centre.
Mount Lawley railway station is 3.2 kilometres (2.0 mi) from Perth railway station, in Western Australia, on the Midland Line and Airport line on the Transperth commuter rail network.

Daglish railway station is a commuter railway station on the boundary of Daglish and Subiaco, suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. Opened on 14 July 1924, the station was named after Henry Daglish, who had been a mayor of Subiaco, a member for the electoral district of Subiaco, and a premier of Western Australia in the 1900s. Daglish was a resident of Subiaco for 22 years before he died in 1920. The station consists of an island platform accessed by a pedestrian underpass. Two small buildings are on the platform which operated as a parcels office and ticket office until 1970. The station is only partially accessible due to a steep access ramp and lack of tactile paving.

The line branches from the Midland line at Bayswater station and heads north-north-west to serve five new stations along a 21.3-kilometre (13.2 mi) route to Ellenbrook. Ellenbrook line services will continue west of Bayswater station alongside Midland and Airport line services to terminate at Perth station in the central business district.

Benara Road is an east–west road in the north-eastern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia.
Drumpellier Drive is a north-south road linking Ellenbrook with Reid Highway in the north-eastern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. The southern section was opened as Lord Street, and was the main link between Ellenbrook and the rest of Perth until the extension of Tonkin Highway north to Gnangara Road. The road corridor has had several proposals put forward for it, including a highway, a bus rapid transitway and a railway. In 2019, a new alignment for Lord Street south of Gnangara Road opened, and it was renamed to Drumpellier Drive, making the naming consistent with the section of road north of Gnangara Road.
