Transdev WA is an Australian bus company operating Transperth bus services under contract to the Public Transport Authority. It is a subsidiary of Transdev Australasia.
On 29 September 1996, Transport Management Group Pty Limited (TMG), trading as Southern Coast Transit, commenced operating services in the Rockingham area from depots in Mandurah and Rockingham with 57 Mercedes-Benz and Renault buses. [1] [2] [3] [4] It was owned by Victorian bus operators the Donric Group and SkyBus. [5]
In August 1997, two Denning double decker coaches were acquired from AAT Kings and Australian Pacific Touring to operate a Mandurah to Perth service. [6] [7] On 5 July 1998, Southern Coast was awarded the contract to operate Cockburn, Fremantle and the Perth CAT services, also awarded Belmont and Claremont area services as CGEA Group. [8] [9] [10]
In June 1999, TMG including Southern Coast Transit was sold to National Express [11] [12] who in September 2004 sold it to Connex. [13] [14] [15] It was rebranded as Veolia Transport and in July 2013 as Transdev Perth, then later as Transdev WA.
Connex had previously operated services in Perth as Perthbus (later Connex WA) since 1998, before selling its operations to Swan Transit in September 2002. [16] [17] [18]
Between May 2011 and January 2020, Transdev operated the Joondalup area contract. Transdev lost the contract to Swan Transit on 19 January 2020. [19] [20] [21]
As of July 2022 [update] , Transdev WA operates the Central Area Transit (Perth CAT), Fremantle and Rockingham area contracts. [22] In July 2022, new bus contracts for Fremantle and Rockingham were awarded to Transdev for another 10 years, starting on 2 October 2022. [23]

The Mandurah line is a commuter railway and service on the Transperth network in Western Australia that runs from Perth south to the state's second largest city Mandurah. The service is operated by Transperth Train Operations, a division of the Public Transport Authority. The line is 70.1 kilometres (43.6 mi) long and has 12 stations. At its northern end, the line begins as a continuation of the Yanchep line at Perth Underground, and ends as a continuation of the Yanchep line at Elizabeth Quay. The first 1.3 kilometres (0.81 mi) of the line is underground, passing under the Perth central business district. The line surfaces and enters the median of the Kwinana Freeway just north of the Swan River. It continues south down the freeway's median for 30 kilometres (19 mi), before veering south-west towards Rockingham. The final stretch of the line goes south from Rockingham to Mandurah.
Wellington Street bus station was a Transperth bus station located next to Perth railway station in the Perth central business district, Western Australia from 1973 until 2014. It was demolished to make way for Perth Busport.
Swan Transit is an Australian bus company operating Transperth bus services under contract to the Public Transport Authority. It is a subsidiary of Transit Systems.
The Perth Central Area Transit system, or simply CAT, consists of five bus routes in the centre of Perth and three bus routes in Joondalup. CAT services formerly operated in Fremantle, and similar services exist in Rockingham and Midland. Unlike all other Transperth services, most CAT routes are free.

Rockingham railway station is a railway station in Rockingham, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is on the Mandurah railway line, which is part of the Transperth commuter rail network. It has two side platforms, linked by a pedestrian overpass accessed by stairs, a lift, and escalators. Services run every 10 minutes during peak, and every 15 minutes between peak. The journey to Perth railway station is 43.2 kilometres (26.8 mi), and takes 34 minutes. The journey to Mandurah railway station is 27.6 kilometres (17.1 mi), and takes 17 minutes. The station has a bus interchange with twelve bus stands, and 14 regular bus routes.
Warnbro railway station is a commuter railway station in Warnbro, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is on the Mandurah line, which is part of the Transperth commuter rail network, and is located immediately south-east of the interchange of Safety Bay Road and Ennis Avenue. It has two side platforms, linked by a pedestrian overpass accessed by stairs, a lift, and escalators. Services run every 10 minutes during peak, and every 15 minutes between peak. The journey to Perth Underground station is 47.5 kilometres (29.5 mi), and takes 38 minutes. The journey to Mandurah station is 23.3 kilometres (14.5 mi), and takes 13 minutes. The station has a bus interchange with seven bus stands and 12 regular bus routes.
