As of the census [7] of 2000, there were 742 people, 223 households, and 185 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 7,988.9 inhabitants per square mile (3,084.5/km2). There were 228 housing units at an average density of 2,454.8 per square mile (947.8/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.35% White, 2.83% African American, 3.50% Asian, 3.50% from other races, and 0.81% from two or more races. 10.51% of the population were Hispanic or Latino.
There were 223 households, out of which 35.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.4% were married couples living together, 10.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.6% were non-families. 13.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.02 and the average family size was 3.31.
In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 20.9% under the age of 18, 6.2% from 18 to 24, 24.1% from 25 to 44, 24.4% from 45 to 64, and 24.4% who were 65 years of age or older.
