Edlesborough is a village and civil parish in the Aylesbury Vale district of Buckinghamshire, England. Edlesborough is also next to the village of Eaton Bray just over the county boundary in Bedfordshire, about 3 miles (5 km) west-south-west of Dunstable.

Little Meadle is a hamlet in Buckinghamshire, England. It is part of the civil parish of Longwick-cum-Ilmer and is located between the hamlets of Owlswick and Meadle. It is approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) from Aylesbury and 20 miles (32 km) from Oxford. In addition to the Farm House it consists of a collection of houses built over the past 60 years, and it gained an official name with the Royal Mail in 2004, as well as being mapped with the Ordnance Survey 2006. The term Little Meadle is a relatively new one it has no historical meaning in itself, except that it is close to the village of Meadle and is a small hamlet that was previously known only by the name of the road in which it is situated Stockwell Lane.
Charlton was the name of a small village or large hamlet in Gloucestershire, England with a Bethel Chapel and Sunday School. It was demolished in the late 1940s. Its site is occupied by part of the derelict runway and safety margins of the former Bristol Filton Airport. The village was located between Filton and what is today the Cribbs Causeway out-of-town commercial and retail area immediately north of Bristol. To the north of the village lay fields and Over Court Deer Park, which is today Bristol Golf Club.

Whempstead is a hamlet in the parish of Watton-at-Stone, situated north of Hertford and to the south-east of Stevenage in Hertfordshire, it is close to the villages of Benington and Dane End. The hamlet consists of approximately 15 houses and several farms. All of the surrounding landscape is given over to agriculture. In 1390 a chapel was built at Whempstead, dedicated to the honour of the Blessed Virgin. In 1548 there was a dissolution of the chapel as it was in decay, but some of the buildings survived to the late 1800s, situated at the present Chapel Farm. By 1749 the number of houses had grown to the extent that the hamlet was large enough to be visible on a map of Hertfordshire for the first time. There was a public house The Gate although this closed in the 1960s.
