Shuswap Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada. It is located in the community of Scotch Creek, on the north shore of the main arm of Shuswap Lake in the Southern Interior of BC. The park is about 45 minutes north of Salmon Arm, and about 1 hour east of Kamloops. The park contains a large campground with approximately 275 camping sites, as well as a large sand and gravel beach and day use/picnic area. It is a very popular park, with many thousands of people, primarily from BC and Alberta, camping there every year.
Shuswap Lake Marine Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, comprising 894 ha. The Park has a variety of amenities including boat launch ramps, picnic areas, and 27 campsites around the perimeter of Shuswap Lake. The lake's name and that of the surrounding Shuswap Country is from the Shuswap people (Secwepemc), the most northern of the Salishan speaking people.

Bridge Creek is a creek in the South Cariboo region of the Interior of British Columbia, Canada. Its meandering course across the Cariboo Plateau is approximately 85 kilometres in length, beginning at Bridge Lake and running roughly westwards to the town of 100 Mile House and from there turning and running northeast to Canim Lake. Below Canim Lake the Canim River connects to Mahood Lake and the short Mahood River to the Clearwater River, which meets the North Thompson at the town of Clearwater.

Nelson is an unincorporated community in Butte County, California. It lies 6.5 miles (10.5 km) south-southeast of Durham, at an elevation of 121 feet. Nelson's first post office was established in 1873; its zip code is 95958. The place was founded in 1873 by the California and Oregon Railroad Company and named for an early settler, A.D. Nelson. By 1882 Nelson had two warehouses, a hotel, a store, a blacksmith shop, and a saloon, and was a major center of wheat shipment. Rice is the major crop grown in the area today.
