Pope's Island (New Brunswick)

This article is about the first island owned by Pope, dubbed Pope's Island; it is located just off Chocolate Cove, Deer Island (New Brunswick), It should not be confused with the better-known Pope's Folly Island a few kilometres southwest between Lubec and Mulhollands Point, Campobello.

Popes Island is an undeveloped island in the West Isles Parish of Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada, where the Bay of Fundy enters Passamaquoddy Bay. ^{[2] [3] [4]}

There is a seven-fathom patch between Pope's and Chocolate Cove. ^[5]

In December 1985, a study by Parks Canada assessed the island's value as $3,600. ^[1]
