Purono Park is a small residential suburb situated in between Yabulu and Bluewater, approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of the Townsville and Thuringowa urban centres, in Queensland, Australia. The suburb runs adjacent to Althaus Creek and is accessed via Purono Parkway, which runs north from the Bruce Highway.

Yabulu is a small residential suburb approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. At the 2016 Australian Census the population of Yabulu was 697. The Bruce Highway passes through the suburb which fronts Halifax Bay.

Bluewater is a rural/residential hamlet and suburb in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. The town of Bluewater Beach is also within the suburb. At the 2016 census, Bluewater recorded a population of 1,040 people.

Townsville is a city on the north-eastern coast of Queensland, Australia. Townsville is Australia's largest urban centre north of the Sunshine Coast, with a population of 173,815 as of the 2016 Australian census. Considered the unofficial capital of North Queensland by locals, Townsville hosts a significant number of governmental, community and major business administrative offices for the northern half of the state. It is in the dry tropics region of Queensland, adjacent to the central section of the Great Barrier Reef. It is an increasingly important port due to its proximity to Asia and major trading partners such as China.

Tabourie Lake, formerly Toubouree Lake is a small village in the suburb of Lake Tabourie, in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia and is within the City of Shoalhaven local government area. The village takes its name from the lagoon formed at the entry of Tabourie Creek into the ocean. Crampton Island lies immediately off shore with access available by foot at low tide. A caravan and camping park is located between the beach and lake. The village boasts a small museum, opened in 1965 with a collection of local historical exhibits, including fauna, Aboriginal artifacts, and historical furnishings and machinery. The museum and collection was given to the Shoalhaven City Council by its founder Jack Nicholson in 1983.
