Radway Green & Barthomley railway station was a railway station in Cheshire, England, from 1848 to 1966. It was built by the North Staffordshire Railway (NSR) and served the villages of Barthomley, Oakhanger and Radway Green. Located on the NSR line between Crewe and Kidsgrove it was the first station on the route from Crewe.
During the Second World War the station was the terminating point for many trains transporting workers to and from the nearby ROF Radway Green. This situation continued until a new station, Millway was built at the factory in 1942. [3]

The Churnet Valley line was one of the three original routes planned and built by the North Staffordshire Railway. The line was closed in several stages between 1964 and 1988 but part of the central section passed into the hands of a preservation society and today operates as the Churnet Valley Railway.

Wheelock & Sandbach railway station was built by the North Staffordshire Railway (NSR) to serve the Cheshire village of Wheelock. Originally conceived as a line between Stoke-upon-Trent and Liverpool, the short line from Lawton Junction to Ettiley Heath was opened as a goods traffic only line in 1852. Subsequently, the line was extended to join with the London and North Western Railway at Sandbach in 1866. Towards the end of the 19th century the NSR decided to introduce a passenger service on the line and Sandbach (Wheelock) railway station was opened in July 1893 as the terminus of the new service from Harecastle.
