Rameshwar Prasad Sinha (also transliterated as Rameshwar Prasad Singh) was an Indian statesman and a participant in the Indian independence movement. He was a Member of the Constituent Assembly of India which was elected to write the Constitution of India,and served as its first Parliament as an independent nation. He was also a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Bihar. [1] He was known for his oratorical skills and his speeches to the masses,both in English and Hindi. He started practising law in 1915,but gave it up in 1921 to take part in Mahatma Gandhi's non-co-operation movement. He was imprisoned twice during the freedom struggle. [2]
His only daughter Kishori Sinha was also a Two-term Member of Parliament from the Vaishali constituency and is married to Satyendra Narayan Sinha a former Chief Minister of Bihar. He died in 1965. [3]
Rajendra Prasad was an Indian politician,lawyer,journalist and scholar who served as the first president of India from 1950 to 1962. He joined the Indian National Congress during the Indian independence movement and became a major leader from the region of Bihar and Maharashtra. A supporter of Mahatma Gandhi,Prasad was imprisoned by British authorities during the Salt Satyagraha of 1930 and the Quit India movement of 1942. After the constituent assembly 1946 elections,Prasad served as 1st Minister of Food and Agriculture in the central government from 1947 to 1948. Upon independence in 1947,Prasad was elected as President of the Constituent Assembly of India,which prepared the Constitution of India and which served as its provisional Parliament.
Krishna Ballabh Sahay,popularly known as K B Sahay was an Indian freedom fighter,who after Indian Independence became the Revenue Minister of Bihar and then became the fourth Chief Minister of unified Bihar.

Satyendra Narayan Sinha was an Indian politician and statesman,participant in the Indian independence movement,a leading light of Jaya Prakash Narayan's ‘complete revolution’movement during the Emergency and a former Chief Minister of Bihar. Affectionately called Chhote Saheb,he was also a seven-time Member of Parliament from the Aurangabad constituency,a three-term Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly,and a Member of the Bihar Legislative Council once. Regarded to be one of India's most influential regional people of the time,his reputation was synonymous with being a strict disciplinarian and tough taskmaster.

One of the leading nationalists in the Indian independence movement from Bihar after Dr Rajendra Prasad,he was elected as the Congress Party deputy leader in the state assembly to assume office as first Deputy Chief Minister cum Finance Minister of independent Bihar,and re-elected when the Congress Party won Bihar's first general election with a massive mandate in 1952.
Kishori Sinha was an Indian politician,social activist,a lifelong advocate of women's empowerment and a former two-term Member of Parliament from the Vaishali constituency. She was married to the former Chief Minister of Bihar Satyendra Narayan Sinha,who was a seven-term Member of Parliament,from the constituency of Aurangabad. Her son Nikhil Kumar had served as the Governor of Kerala and Governor of Nagaland.
Anugrah Narayan College,Patna or A N College is a co-educational institution of the state of Bihar,India. It is located in Patna,the state capital city,on a 13 acres (53,000 m2) site. A constituent unit of Patliputra University,the college was established in January,1956 and its first principal was economist Dr. Gorak Nath Sinha. The college has 22 Undergraduate departments and 23 Postgraduate departments. The college has been selected for Chancellor Award 2021 in Best College and Best Principal of Bihar.

Mahamaya Prasad Sinha was an Indian politician. He was the fifth Chief Minister of Bihar from March 1967 to January 1968 which was the first non congress Government in Bihar. Sinha was a follower of Maharaja Kamakhya Narain Singh and Maharaj Kumar Basant Narain Singh and was a member of their political Jan Kranti Dal. He was elected to the 6th Lok Sabha,lower house of the Parliament of India from the Patna constituency of Bihar in 1977. Before quitting Congress,he was among the four prominent leaders of Bihar unit during 1960s,the others being Krishna Ballabh Sahay,Satyendra Narayan Sinha and Binodanand Jha.
