Filipino entertainer Regine Velasquez has appeared in motion pictures and television programs. She made her screen debut with a minor role in the 1988 comedy film The Untouchable Family. [1] She went on to appear in supporting roles in the comedies Pik Pak Boom (1988) and Elvis and James 2 (1990). [2] [3] Velasquez made her stage debut in 1992 with the Musical Theatre Philippines production of Romualdo Ramos and Tony Velasquez 's Kenkoy Loves Rosing . [4] Her breakthrough came when she played the title role in the film Wanted Perfect Mother (1996). [3] [5] The same year, she starred in the musical comedy Do Re Mi alongside Donna Cruz and Mikee Cojuangco. [6] Among Velasquez's next releases were the fantasy comedy Honey Nasa Langit Na Ba Ako (1998) and Joyce Bernal 's romantic comedy Dahil May Isang Ikaw (1999) opposite Aga Muhlach. Velasquez's profile continued to grow in the 2000s as she took on starring roles in two lucrative romantic comedy films. She featured as a prominent singer desperate for a normal life in Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2000), [8] and she re-teamed with Bernal and Muhlach in Pangako Ikaw Lang (2001)—Velasquez's biggest commercial success to date, for which she received the Box Office Entertainment Award for Box Office Queen. He is known for his acting versatility, and has played dramatic and action roles in films and television series in the Philippines. Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez is a Filipino singer and actress. She is considered one of the most influential figures in Philippine popular culture and is known for her vocal range and belting technique. She had unorthodox voice training during her childhood, where she was immersed neck-deep in the sea. Velasquez rose to prominence after winning the television talent show Ang Bagong Kampeon in 1984 and the Asia Pacific Singing Contest in 1989. Under the name Chona, she signed a recording contract with OctoArts International in 1986 and released the single "Love Me Again", which was commercially unsuccessful. Herminio Jose Lualhati "Ogie" Alcasid Jr. is a Filipino actor, singer, songwriter, comedian, director and producer. He is best known for his songwriting and collaboration with other musical artists. He has appeared in films and television shows, notably as a cast member of Tropang Trumpo (1994–1995) and Bubble Gang (1995–2013), and a host and main performer of SOP (1997–2010) and ASAP (2017–present). He is currently married to Regine Velasquez, with whom he has one child.
Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw is the soundtrack to the 2000 Viva Films comedy and romance film of the same name starring Regine Velasquez and Robin Padilla. The soundtrack was released by Viva Records on 2000 in CD and cassette format. With the film's immense success, the single "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" shot to the top of the charts and the soundtrack sold more than 240,000+ copies in the Philippines.

Sarap, 'Di Ba?, formerly Sarap Diva, is a Philippine television cooking talk show broadcast by GMA Network. Originally directed by Treb Monteras II, it was originally hosted by Regine Velasquez. It premiered on October 6, 2012 as Sarap Diva on the network's Saturday morning line-up replacing Kapuso Movie Festival. It premiered on October 20, 2018 as Sarap, 'Di Ba?. Louie Ignacio currently serves a director and Carmina Villarroel, Mavy Legaspi and Cassy Legaspi currently serve as the hosts. The show is set to conclude in October 2024.
Idol Philippines is a Philippine reality singing television competition broadcast by ABS-CBN and Kapamilya Channel. As part of the Idol franchise created by British entertainment executive Simon Fuller, the show aims to discover new solo singing talents, with the winner determined by weekly singing challenges and the viewing public. This is the third iteration of the Idol franchise in the Philippines, after Philippine Idol in 2006 by ABC and Pinoy Idol in 2008 by GMA Network. It aired from April 21, 2019, to September 18, 2022, replacing World of Dance Philippines and was replaced by Everybody, Sing!.

The tour in the United States was due to begin May 2020 with six dates scheduled, but these were postponed following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic; new shows were announced after a two-year delay. It continued in June 2022 at the Resorts World Manila, followed by a series of shows in the United States throughout 2023. The concert tour featured guest appearances by Pilita Corrales, Jeremy Glinoga, and Zephanie Dimaranan.
