The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra is a symphony orchestra based in Hong Kong. Colloquially referred to as the HKPO or HKPhil, the orchestra was first established in 1947 as an amateur orchestra under the name Sino-British Orchestra (中英管弦樂團), it was renamed the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra in 1957 and became a professional orchestra in 1974 under the funding of the government.

In addition to its symphony concerts, the orchestra gives pops concerts as the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. Founded in 1880 by Joseph Otten as the St. Louis Choral Society, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is the second-oldest professional symphony orchestra in the United States, preceded only by the New York Philharmonic. Its principal concert venue is Powell Hall, located in midtown St. Louis.

The Symphony has a division in Utah Valley that is based out of the Noorda Center for the Performing Arts at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

The orchestra's current music director is Hans Graf, since 2022. The SSO is part of the Singapore Symphony Group, which also manages the Singapore Symphony Choruses, the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO), the VCH presents chamber music series, the Singapore International Piano Festival and the biennial National Piano and Violin Competition. It achieved third place in 2021 for Gramophone's Orchestra of the Year award, and made the list of the BBC Music Magazine's Top 21 Best Orchestras in the World in 2022 and 2023.

Stardew Valley is a 2016 farm life simulation role-playing video game developed by Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone. Players take the role of a character who inherits their deceased grandfather's dilapidated farm in a place known as "Stardew Valley". The game was originally released for Windows in February 2016 before being ported to other platforms. Stardew Valley is an open-ended game, allowing players to grow crops, raise livestock, fish, cook, mine, forage, and socialize with the townspeople, including the ability to marry and have children. It allows up to eight players to play online together.
Hatsune Miku Expo is a series of world tours organized by Crypton Future Media starring the virtual singing software character Hatsune Miku. The performances include notable user-created Vocaloid songs and digital choreography of Miku dancing, projected onto glass screens. The tour started on May 28, 2014 in Jakarta, Indonesia, with new shows added every year, with the exception of 2021, 2022 and 2023 where Hatsune Miku-related events were held virtually and livestreamed on platforms such as Twitch, YouTube and Niconico. In-person Miku Expo shows were resumed on April 4, 2024 in Vancouver, Canada. As of 2024, the tour consisted of 82 shows spanning the continents of Asia, North America, Europe and Oceania.
