Thimmanahalli Boraiah Jayachandra (29 July 1949) [1] is an Indian politician and former member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly [2] from the Indian National Congress. [3] He served as the Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs for Karnataka before losing his seat in 2018 assembly elections. [4] [5] [6] [7]
Jayachandra was first elected to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in 1978. [8] He was elected to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly after winning from Sira during the 2013 elections. [2] He lost from Sira in the Karnataka assembly elections 2018 to JD(S) candidate B Satyanarayana.
He was elected as a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly,from the Kallambella &Sira constituencies of Tumkur District,Karnataka for 7 terms.
He was the Cabinet Minister from 2013 until 2018 and handled the portfolios of Law,Parliamentary Affairs,Animal Husbandry,Endowments,Higher Education and Minor Irrigation very efficiently. He was also the Chairman of 16 Cabinet Sub-Committees,Vice Chairman for one Cabinet Sub Committee and Member of 24 Cabinet Sub-Committees. Besides being Chairman of the Committee for Simplification,Strengthening,Tracking of Govt. Programmes.

Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna is an Indian politician who served as Minister of External Affairs of India from 2009 to October 2012. He was the 10th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 1999 to 2004 and the 19th Governor of Maharashtra from 2004 to 2008. SM Krishna had served as the Speaker of the Karnataka Vidhan Sabha from December 1989 to January 1993. He was also a member of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha at various times from 1971 to 2014. In 2023,Krishna was awarded the Padma Vibhushan,the second highest civilian award of India.
Siddaramaiah,also referred to by his nickname Siddu,is an Indian politician who is serving as the 22nd Chief Minister of Karnataka from 20 May 2023. He also held that position previously from 2013 to 2018,being only the second person to hold that office for a full five-year term. He belongs to the Indian National Congress and is presently the leader of the Congress Legislative Party. He represented the Varuna Assembly constituency from 2023,previously from 2008 to 2018,Badami Assembly constituency from 2018 to 2023,and Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency from 2004 to 2007,1994 to 1999,and from 1983 to 1989 in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He also served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly on two occasions,from 2019 to 2023 and from 2009 to 2013. Siddaramaiah was a member of various Janata Parivar factions for several years.

Brijmohan Agrawal is an Indian politician from Chhattisgarh. He is a member of the Lok Sabha from Raipur. He was an eight time Member of Vidhan Sabha representing Raipur Town &later Raipur City South from 1990 till 2024.
