As of the census [3] of 2000, there were 69 people, 32 households, and 19 families residing in the town. The population density was 78.1 inhabitants per square mile (30.2/km2). There were 38 housing units at an average density of 43.0 per square mile (16.6/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 75.36% White, 15.94% African American, 1.45% Native American, 4.35% from other races, and 2.90% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.35% of the population.
There were 32 households, out of which 28.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.8% were married couples living together, 12.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.6% were non-families. 34.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.16 and the average family size was 2.79.
In the town, the population was spread out, with 24.6% under the age of 18, 5.8% from 18 to 24, 21.7% from 25 to 44, 24.6% from 45 to 64, and 23.2% who were 65 years of age or older.
