Ten Mile Junction Depot is a depot for LRT trains serving the Bukit Panjang LRT in Singapore. It is integrated with the Junction 10 shopping mall [1] and The Tennery condominium, with the depot facilities and Operations Control Centre located at the third level while the first and second levels are occupied by shops. It is the first depot in Singapore to be built in an existing building and also the first LRT depot to be built.
The depot is located next to the former Ten Mile Junction LRT station. Trains entering the depot will take the first left turn instead of second left which Ten Mile Junction LRT Station uses, while the straight track is used for the maintenance area and will also allow single train cars to couple to form two car trains for two carriage operation.
LTA will be expanding the depot by acquiring the former LRT station into a stabling area for 5 to 8 more trains.
The depot is located between Phoenix station and Bukit Panjang station on the Bukit Panjang LRT line and has 2 reception tracks: 1 track Eastbound towards Bukit Panjang station and 1 track Westbound towards Phoenix station.
The delivery of new light rail trains is done at the small worksite along Choa Chu Kang Road using a crane. The new trains are lifted up to the tracks, coupled with other existing LRT trains and are pushed into the depot.
Bangsar is a residential suburb on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, lying about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south-west of the city centre. It is part of the Lembah Pantai parliamentary constituency. Choa Chu Kang, alternatively spelled Chua Chu Kang and often abbreviated as CCK, is a planning area and residential town located at the northwestern point of the West Region of Singapore. The town shares borders with Sungei Kadut to the north, Tengah to the southwest, Bukit Batok to the southeast, Bukit Panjang to the east and the Western Water Catchment to the west. Choa Chu Kang New Town is separated into two portions by the Kranji Expressway.
The Bukit Panjang LRT is a 8-kilometre (5.0 mi) automated guideway transit line in Bukit Panjang, Singapore. The BPLRT is currently the only LRT line operated by SMRT Trains. As the name suggests, it serves 13 stations in the neighbourhood of Bukit Panjang and parts of Choa Chu Kang in the north-west of the country. The line was the first LRT line constructed in Singapore, having opened on 6 November 1999 by Deputy Prime Minister Tony Tan.
The Sengkang LRT is a 10.7-kilometre (6.6 mi) automated guideway transit line in Singapore. The line, which initially opened on 18 January 2003, connects the residential districts and suburbs of Sengkang to Sengkang Town Centre, where it connects with the North East MRT line, Sengkang Bus Interchange, Compass One and Compassvale Bus Interchange. It is the second line of the LRT system in Singapore and like all other LRT lines, it is fully elevated and uses automated trains. It is the first LRT line to be operated by SBS Transit.
Bukit Panjang is a planning area and residential town located in the West Region of Singapore. A portion of this town is situated on a low-lying elongated hill. The planning area is bounded by Bukit Batok to the west, Choa Chu Kang to the northwest, Sungei Kadut to the north, the Central Water Catchment to the east, and Bukit Timah to the south. Bukit Panjang New Town is located at the northern portion of the planning area. Bukit Panjang has an average elevation of 36m/118 ft.
The Light Rail Transit system, locally known by the initialism LRT, are a series of localised automated guideway transit (AGT) systems in Singapore which acts as feeder services to the heavy rail Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), and together forms the core of the country's rail transport services. The first LRT line was opened in 1999 and the system has since expanded to three lines, each serving three new towns, namely Bukit Panjang, Sengkang and Punggol, with a total system length of approximately 30 km (19 mi). Trains on these lines have at least one station interchange link to the MRT.

Sengkang Depot is a train depot in Sengkang, Singapore operated by SBS Transit. It is the first co-location of facilities for both the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT). It maintains the trains for the North East line, Sengkang LRT line, and Punggol LRT line, and houses the control centre of the three lines.

Ten Mile Junction LRT station was an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Bukit Panjang LRT line in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore that was in operation between 6 November 1999 and 13 January 2019. This LRT station was the only one that was air conditioned, inside a building, had full height platform screen doors, faregates on the same level as the platform, and only one track. The two-car configuration was not deployed for the service and it provided a 20-minute frequency, which was lower than the other LRT stations.
SMRT Trains Limited is a rail operator in Singapore and a wholly owned subsidiary of SMRT Corporation. After the privatisation of the MRT operations in 1995, it was originally named Singapore MRT Limited. On 31 December 2001, it was renamed SMRT Trains Limited, so as to avoid confusion with the then upcoming North East MRT line which would be under SBS Transit. SMRT Trains currently manages most of the MRT services in Singapore except the North East Line and Downtown Line.

Bukit Timah Road is a major road in Singapore extending from the city centre to Woodlands Road on the way to Johor Bahru in Malaysia. The road has a length of 25 km, which makes it one of the longest roads in Singapore, and the road takes its name from the hill. En route, it passes through the areas of Little India, Newton Road, Farrer Road, Singapore Botanic Gardens, Bukit Timah and Bukit Panjang.
The Downtown Line (DTL) is a medium-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Singapore. It runs from Bukit Panjang station in the north-west of the country towards Expo station in the east via a loop around the city-centre. Coloured blue on the rail map, the line serves 34 stations, all of which are underground. The DTL is the fifth MRT line on the network to be opened and the third line to be entirely underground. It is the second MRT line to be operated by SBS Transit after the North East Line. It also serves as an alternative to the East–West Line where it runs roughly geographically parallel from Bugis to Expo station.
Bukit Panjang MRT/LRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) interchange station on the Downtown line (DTL) and the Bukit Panjang LRT line (BPLRT) in Singapore. Located in the namesake estate of Bukit Panjang, the station is at the junction of Upper Bukit Timah Road and Petir Road. The station serves the commercial buildings of Bukit Panjang Plaza, Hillion Mall, and Junction 10. It forms a part of the Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub (BPITH), which also contains a bus interchange.
Choa Chu Kang MRT/LRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) interchange station in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore. Serving the North South line (NSL) and the Bukit Panjang LRT line (BPLRT), the station is located near the Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange and Lot One shopping centre. Other surrounding landmarks include Keat Hong Community Club and Choa Chu Kang Park.
The Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR Qingdao Sifang C151B is the fifth generation electric multiple unit rolling stock in operation on the North–South and East–West lines of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) & CRRC Qingdao Sifang under Contract 151B. 45 trains were purchased and all of them have been delivered to Singapore as of 12 April 2017. SMRT took delivery of the first 2 train cars on 21 May 2015. These trains increased frequency for the two MRT lines, North–South and East–West lines.
The Bombardier Innovia APM 100 C801A is the second generation of an automated people mover (APM) train built by Bombardier Transportation for the Bukit Panjang LRT line. These trains are mainly for airport connections and light rail in towns and it is operated by Automatic Train Control (ATC), making it fully automatic and driverless. The use of rubber tyres and ceramic tracks are extremely quiet compared to conventional rail.
The Bombardier Innovia APM 100 C801 is the first generation of an automated people mover (APM) train built by Adtranz for use on the Bukit Panjang LRT (BPLRT).
The Bombardier Innovia APM 300R C801B is the third generation of automated people mover (APM) trains built by CRRC Puzhen Alstom Transportation Systems for the Bukit Panjang LRT line, to replace the existing C801 trains built in 1999. The C801B trains are also the first of its kind to reuse the retro AC third rail shoes compared to the newer Light Rail lines around the world that utilises the APM 300 system that have been built with DC third rail instead of AC.
