The United States women's national American football team represents the United States in international women's American football competitions. It is currently ranked no.1 in the IFAF. It is controlled by USA Football and is recognized by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF).
The original 45 women to compete for the USA played in the 2010 IFAF Women's World Championship in Stockholm, Sweden. They defeated Canada (66–0) for their first World Championship.
Team USA competed at the 2013 IFAF Women's World Championship, where they took their second title after beating Canada 64–0. [1]

Women's gridiron football, more commonly known as women's tackle football, women's American football, women's Canadian football, or simply women's football, is a form of gridiron football played by women. Most leagues play by similar rules to the men's game. Women primarily play on a semi-professional or amateur level in the United States. Very few high schools or colleges offer the sport solely for women and girls. However, on occasion, it is permissible for a female player to join the otherwise male team.
Flag football is a variant of American football where, instead of tackling players to the ground, the defensive team must remove a flag or flag belt from the ball carrier ("deflagging") to end a down. American Football Association of Finland is the national governing body of American football in Finland. It was founded in 1979 and it is a founding member of the European Federation of American Football, EFAF and International Federation of American Football, IFAF. Since 2000, American football has grown steadily. In 2006 there were 27 clubs playing the sport with over 100 teams and over 1400 players. The United States national U-19 American football team represents the United States in under-19 international American football competitions. The US has competed in all 5 of the IFAF Junior World Championship competitions in which they finished in First Place 2 times, Second Place 2 times, and Third Place 1 time. The US has also won the IFAF International Bowl 7 times. They are currently ranked no.2 in the IFAF U-19 rankings. Top competitions for the U-19s are the IFAF Junior World Championship, IFAF International Bowl, and U-19 North American Championships.
The IFAF Women's World Championship is the international championship for women in American football. The first event was held in 2010, in Stockholm, Sweden, with six countries competing. The United States took home the gold while not letting any team they played score. The second event was held in 2013, with Vantaa, Finland, hosting the games. The United States swept the competitors again, winning the gold medal. Third event was played in 2017 with Canada as the host nation. The U.S. took the gold medal for the third time, again beating the host nation Canada in the final.

It is governed and managed by Football Canada and is recognized by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF). Football Canada is the governing body for amateur Canadian football, however, IFAF-sponsored games are played using American football rules. They competed for their first and only IFAF World Championship in 2011.
The Canada National Football Junior Team a.k.a. the Football Canada World Junior Team represent Canada in international gridiron football competitions. The football program is part of the football development program and is controlled by Football Canada and is recognized by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF). It is the premiere team in male development for the organization. While Football Canada is the governing body for amateur Canadian football, IFAF-sponsored games are played using American football rules. Team Canada first competed on the world stage in the NFL Global Junior Championship in 2000 with a championship victory over Team Europe. They competed for their first IFAF Junior World Cup in 2009.
The 2013 IFAF Women's World Championship was the second IFAF Women's World Championship, an American football competition for women. It took place between 30 June and 6 July 2013. The tournament was hosted at the ISS Stadion in Vantaa, Finland. The defending champion, the United States, won its second title after defeating Canada 64–0 in the final. Host team Finland won the bronze medal.

Her club team is the Chicago Force. of the Women's Football Alliance Prior to her career in football, Berggren was a member of the Chicago Condors of the American Basketball League (ABL).
