Vauxhall and Camberwell Green is a constituency in Greater London represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. [2] Following the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it was first contested at the 2024 general election, and Florence Eshalomi was elected for the Labour Party. Constituency Profile

At 10% of the population, Vauxhall and Camberwell Green has the joint third highest proportion of LGBTQ+ people in the country. [8]

The constituency encompasses a wide range of urban neighborhoods including Vauxhall, Kennington, Stockwell and Camberwell Green. Demographically, the constituency is among the most ethnically diverse in the UK.

The population is relatively young, with over 39% aged 20–39, and a notable number of one-person households—reflecting a mix of young professionals. The constituency is in close proximity to several higher education institutions, such as London South Bank University, King's College London, and University College London, indicating a substantial student demographic.

Iconic venues in the constituency include the Oval Cricket Ground, Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Southbank Centre, London Eye and Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens.

Politically, both Lambeth and Southwark councils are Labour-controlled.
